My Pet Chipmunk
70This is my pet chipmunk, I got her yesterday for a birthday present. Her name is Razzy. I never thought I would get a chipmunk. In fact I never thought about having one.
The first three pictures are, Razzy. The first one, Razzy in her new home. I think she was kinda scared at first , but then after about 3 minutes she was out exploring! She went under my bed, on the fan, on the curtain rack, and so many other places I can't remember. She was taking a self tour of the house.
Second picture, Razzy outside on the rocks. In this picture she was keepin a lookout. Then I put her on a leash and she began scouraging around for nuts, leaves , and grass. After she got all she could possibly hold in her cheeks she brought it in her cage, and made a little nest.
Third picture, Razzy exploring. This is her when she took a self tour. She was looking out the window for about 5 minutes. Then started to make little squeaks to the squirrels outside. Trying to communicate to the squirrels took forever, but it was hilarious. The squirrels outside in the yard were looking all over for that mysterious sound.

Oh thank you!
That's a pretty girl! We had a boy who looked like this; he stayed with us for a while till he was big, then disappeared into the trees one day.
uh oh, When she gets older I think I'll start putting a leash on her then. She is pretty tame, ac tually. =]
May I ask why she's not in the wild?
She has never been out in the wild she was born in a house (Her mom had birth in a house , the mom was a pet.) So she does'nt know any precautions.
They really are funny lil things.
Oh wow. Was the mom an injured pet or something?
I don't know the people that gave me the chipmunk weren't that nice. My friend was friends with them and she bought it for me. All they wanted was the money. I was wondering that to.
My Grandpa had a red-squirrel that he rescued from a cat then it became his friend for life. that's about as close as I ever got to a 'wild' animal as a pet. I'd love to have one of each if it were possible...
regards Zsuzsy
soo cuteeeeeeeeee
Many people freak out when hearing of someone keeping a pet chipmunk - It isn't animal cruelty. While not common, many are kept as pets just like hamsters and gerbils. They are bred like cats or dogs and sold that way, or sold through pet stores. Actually make great pets!
razzy looks yummy with some butter and salt i would EAT HER !!!!!!
