Motivated, determined and I have a real desire to teach. I have informal teaching experience with Polish people and Tunisian People.

Work Experience:

ONE YEAR TEACHING ASSISTANT DURING MY FINAL YEAR AT SCHOOL:  AUG 2005-JUNE 2006
    Two hours each week assisting in 1st year Secondary English and Maths classes

INFORMAL TEACHING IN TUNISIA: JUNE 2008-AUG 2008
    Taught English to family members ranging from age 7-45 years old
    I taught them common phrases that I knew in Arabic to English
    Pronunciation of the English alphabet, grammar and basic to intermediate spelling rules
    I used games and pictures to enhance their English vocabulary that I didn’t know how to say in Arabic which in turn improved my Arabic or Tunisian dialect
    I taught all English abilities, right from beginner to advanced

INFORMAL TEACHING TO POLISH PEOPLE IN ABERDEEN: SEP 2008-NOV 2008
    I taught English to Intermediate level women
    We focused more on grammar rules, spelling and pronunciation

TWO WEEK PLACEMENT - FOREIGN LANGUAGE ASSISTANT, TEACHING ENGLISH  AT ABERDEEN UNIVERSITY: 13 JULY-24 JULY
    Observe and assist in two classes everyday, Monday to Friday
    Led sections of classes like new vocabulary
    Sorting through teaching materials
    Visa application administration
    Taught a class of Chinese students on my own twice a week
    Taught an upper-intermediate mixed ethnic background communication class
    Scored well in Language Awareness tasks
    Gave presentations on what leisure is available in Aberdeen and how to find a job in Aberdeen
