Betty White, Trent Reznor and a slice of garlic and mushroom pizza. Yes, it's time for my Fave Things!

1. I caught a clip of this "behind the scenes" of The Proposal with Sandra Bullock, Ryan Reynolds, and Betty White on The Daily 10. It made me giggle, so I boosted it from Funny or Die to share on this week's fave things. Betty White is classic as always, and Ryan Reynolds is, well....very Ryan Reynolds. Apparently, you better watch your mouth around the Golden Girl or else America's Sweetheart will *F* You Up!

Check out Funny or Die! to view the clip, as well as tons of other hilarious ones!

2. Elizabeth Perkins on Weeds. Thanks to Netflix, I have recently become a fan of this show (only 3 years late?). With each episode, I become more enamored of Elizabeth Perkins. Her character is so heinous to her daughter, Isabelle, and yet so hilarious. Plus, Isabelle doesn't just lie down and take it; she fights back and can be as equally conniving as her super-bitch mother. Their mother-daughter battle is my favorite part of the show.

3. Star Trek. I know I'm not being very original by putting this movie on my list. I don't care. I am not a Star Trek fan, by any means, but I do enjoy going to movies and will make any excuse to find myself in a cool theater inhaling the intoxicating smell of freshly-popped popcorn. Now, I've seen episodes of The Next Generation thanks to my geeky brother and sister, but I never got into it. I'm pretty sure the only reason I didn't leave the room back then was my crush on Wil Wheaton. Anyway, whether or not you're into sci-fi movies, this one is genuinely entertaining. It was really funny in parts too-who knew? There are some major plot holes and I have no idea how closely they stuck to the original stuff, but overall it was definitely worth my $10 ticket (ok, it was more than that but you get what I'm sayin'). It was fun trying to find any semblance of Eric Bana under all that makeup. He kind of looked like a mutant Justin Chambers to me. Plus, Chris Pine is a pretty tasty piece of man-meat, which helped calm my nerves during all the intense explosions and such.

4. "I'm Afraid of Americans" by David Bowie (featuring Nine Inch Nails). I jam out to this song quite often in my car. Some of my associates think there's something a little off about me because it's kind of a creepy song. What do you expect? It's Bowie! This video is so crazy. Trent Reznor playing Jonny the American chasing around an inexplicably paranoid David Bowie is both disturbing and amazing.

5. Dino's pizza in Burbank, California. This is my favorite pizza place west of the Mississippi. That's a bit of an over-statement (I can get down with a little Chicago pizza now and then), but it is the best that I've found in the LA-area so far. Not to be a snob or anything, but these west-coasters don't seem to know what pizza is meant to taste like. However, I have thoroughly enjoyed the garlic and mushroom pizza from Dino's. Delish!

I'm glad you liked the Star Trek. I saw it a second time. Also, Betty White had several appearances on Boston Legal for brutalizing various people, so I definitely believe she has it in her.
