This question has a different opinionated answer for everyone. Why this actor makes the movie, why its the best written movie, the director has so much vision, the writers thought of everything, the sound, the supporting cast, the underlying point. Looking through my collection and the top 250 movies on imdb.comall of which I enjoyed, thought high enough of them to lay down the money, and can find few or no faults in any major area, I realised what movie I enjoy watching over and over again, watched 3 times the first time i laid eyes on it so I could find all the cool tricks and hints at the ending only to realise a few months later I'd missed yet another one. This movie gets a 10/10. 5 stars and two thumbs up from me, and anyone I wanna talk to!

Fight Club

I was directed towards this by a friend when I first started looking for things that had flown under my radar before I was really into critiquing movies and the people who are overpaid to make them. But thats a different nut to crack. This movie is based off a book by Chuck Palahnuik and adapted to the screen by director David Fincher. It stars Brad Pitt and Edward Norton with Helena Bonham Carter, Meat Loaf, and Jared Leto providing a talented supporting cast.

Now, why is this movie my favorite? Because it is everything that a massive blockbuster isn't, but is unsure of itself enough to avoid being a snobbish attempt at avoiding conformity, oddly enough a key piece of its very own plot. I'm not going to ruin this movie in anyway for you, because if you think you can handle it, go and get it, you'll want to watch it a number of times if your a real fan. But to tease your appetite, i shall include as brief a plot summary as I can without confusing you.

The narrator of this film is Edward Norton, whose character is unnamed. He is a uninteresting man, traveling the country for his job investigating car accidents. He suffers from insomnia which he finds a cure too through support groups for many major disease; none of which he is afflicted by. This changes when he meets a man named Tyler Durden who exposes him to an underworld and low level of society that has a plethora of untapped power of the city and its people. So begins the alteration of an unhappy, unsatisfied, uninteresting man to something of a legend among those who don't count, and even less happy with himself and what he has become.

I'd reveal more, but knowing very little about this helps you, you won't be looking for things, you'll just be hit upside the head when they come flickering across the screen. This is a dark, look at the gutter of society, and a resentful taste of what success is defined by in our society. What makes this movie amazing is it does not walk out and say this, it is implied, and is not covered with a thick coat of happy go lucky crowd pleasing bull shit. The author of the book is quoted as liking the movie more than his own book. Showing things in a way he couldn't fully describe and keeping almost all of the plot and twists in place with actors that are the living incarnations of his characters.

Go and watch this movie, it will throw your head through a loop, or you will dislike it, and in that case you probably need to reflect on your life and what you really have.

Before you throw my choice through the ringer, I do know there are classic movies, that I enjoy as much as the next person, I watch Batman Begins over and over, and even have a place for the best of the romantic comedy genre in my heart. But no other movie gets me thinking about what I'm sitting on and around as much as this, only Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas comes close to Fight Club in it's ability to inspire me to do something other than watch that movie again.

I tried and attempted a few times to do a hub on my favorite movie, but there's just too many! I have to say though this one is on my top. I love Fight Club. This is one movie I can watch over and over again. Good hub.

Fight Club is a good movie. I am like stylezink I can watch it over and over. You kind of have to watch it more than once to catch all the clues that you missed over the movie.

Tayler!
