It would cost you loads of cash to try every single new product that comes along and there is nothing more annoying than having shelves of stuff you don't care for, so here is my list of Favorite Natural/Organic Hair & Skin Products for your perusal. These are just a sample of some of my all time favorites - tried and true - that I could not live without:

Avalon Organics, coQ10 Wrinkle Defense Creme. I love this moisturizer and use it every night. It's very creamy, not greasy so it doesn't feel like you're going to bed with a ton of ‘goop' on your face. I've seen a marked improvement in my skin overall, especially around the eye area in just a couple of months.

Jason Natural Cosmetics Apricot Scrubble Facial Wash & Scrub. Oh yes, just scrub that dirt and grime away. This super thick and gritty facial scrub is the best! With ingredients like apricot kernels, jojoba, herbal extracts of chamomile, marigold, and comfrey it exfoliates and gives your skin a healthy glow. Your skin feels super clean and refreshed after use.

Dr. Andrew Weil for OriginsTM Conditioning Lip Balm with Turmeric. This is probably the most expensive lip balm I've ever purchased but it is SO worth it. Ingredients like turmeric, cocoa butter, jojoba, sunflower and sesame seed oils help heal dry, chapped lips and relieve roughness. It doesn't have that "tootie fruity" sweet smell like most lip balms - it does has a very pleasant, light "earthy" fragrance.

Alba Hawaiian Cocoa Butter Hand & Body Lotion. This is one of the first organic products that I tried and I can't say enough about it! It has a very light, pleasant fragrance, and is non-greasy. I use it on my face every single day and it keeps my skin moisturized and looking healthy.

Dr. Bronner's 18 in 1 Pure Castile Soap. Perfect for traveling - forget the bulky soaps & shampoos - this can be used as both! Try Hemp-Peppermint for an all over tingle or Lavender for a refreshing calm.

Shikai Color Reflect Shampoo. Perfect for use on color treated hair, it won't strip the color like the harsher sodium laureth sulfate shampoos.

Alba Clear Enzyme Deodorant - Tea Tree. This deodorant won't prevent perspiration but it has a very clean and pleasant scent - and is aluminum and paraben free.

Avalon Organics Therapeutic Shampoo/Conditioner - Nourishing Lavender. Both the shampoo and the conditioner have a clean, fresh scent - how can you go wrong with lavender? It's super gentle with no sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates or parabens. I use this on my color treated hair every day and it doesn't strip or fade the color.

thanks! this is especially important to know after all the new research into phthalates and other toxins that are in the usual shampoos and lotions.
