My Favourite Funny and Amusing Pet Pictures

Being a huge animal lover I am frequently sent humorous pet emails including the most adorable and funny pictures of pets being generally cute and amusing. I decided that rather than let all these pictures go to waste I would store them on my computer so that when I got the right opportunity I could share them with a wider audience of people who may not have seen them, or at least not all of them. I believe here is a good place to spread them further, so please enjoy them.

I just loved the ones above, and they had me giggling all the way through reading them. I just wish I had my camera handy whenever my cats do something as caption-worthy as these cats did, so far, not a lot of luck.

These ones were equally as amusing as the first five, with the added bonus of the very depressed cat being forced to endure a shower. I would never brave going into the shower with my cats unless wearing full body armour, yet this daredevil looks as if he/she has gone in naked with their pet!!

The first one above is my favourite, as it just shows how determined the male can be to get romantic with the female, even when it may well be a lost cause and he is no doubt 'barking up the wrong tree!'. Having said this, I have heard of cases where Jack Russells have got Great Danes pregnant, so there is always hope for the little guys.

The above pictures are all gorgeous for different reasons. You just know what is going to happen in the first one, and I bet all you menfolk out there winced and wiped a tear from your eye.

Picture number two reminds me of my two cats when they were kittens, as they had a thing for going to sleep in our empty fruit bowl.

The last picutre in the set reimnds me of my Husband Richard after a night out, and he is almost as hairy!!!

I love all of the above pictures, but especially the cat asleep in the coathangers. How much effort did it take to get in there, and what on earth made the cat think this was a good place to sleep?

So hard to judge these ones, but given the choice, the gangly Great Dane has to be my favourite. I still love all the sleepy babies though, especially the one with it's head stuck in the shoe.

The last picture above reminds me so much of our cat 'Reggie'. He too is jet black, and more than capable of doing this sort of damage to an unsuspecting toilet roll.

The 'not guilty' look on the dog's face in the first picture had me giggling away to myself, and the last picture of the cute kitten asleep on the other cats was adorable, you just want to cuddle the little kitty for all you are worth.

My favourite out of the above has to be the dog having a pee against the tree whilst doing a 'pawstand'. I have a friend with a bigger dog that does exactly the same thing, and it is truly amazing to watch.

I also love the idea of two huge Golden Retrievers being too wary to get on the same level as a kitten a fraction of their size, just like people who are scared of mice!

The puppy sitting on the cat above is hilarious, goodness knows how they ended up in that position, but it obviously helps to have a weight advantage!

This is one cheeky budgie, and the kitten clearly has no clue that normally cats eat budgies, at least not yet!! I just wonder if that little budgie is still around today, or if the two of them managed to remain playmates!
