A few weeks ago I embarked on a project where I was offered a BANS Store. It's interesting since I get to test the script without having to pay $97 for one but the catch... I can't edit the template meaning I have no other way to make money unless a user buys something from my store.

This is all new for me, I am fairly good at on-page SEO but Search ENgine Marketing isn't my best practice.

I have been reading about the subject and curiously I found that Hubpages have the best content on BANS articles.

For example Lissie wrote a great review about BANS Stores and I actually found a Niche Store Writer also thanks to Lissie.

Custódio also wrote an excelente post on Top 7 Reasons to open eBay Build a Niche Stores and Marisa also wrote an interesting post on BANS vs phpBay.

Back to my store, the first thing I had to do was to select a niche. I chose Antiques since everybody is all about technology I figured with some effort I can get a fair number of people visiting the website. At this point I didn't knew I was unable to put adsense or edit the template.

After setting up the store I was faced with the problem, since the only way I have to make money is when a user buys something and my budget is extremely low I need to drive traffic to my store but I need to focus on users that are interested in buying antiques.

I have to confess I do not have any experience in Search Engine Marketing or actually online marketing that doesn't envolve blogs so this is a bit of a problem for me.

I am ready to embark on this new adventure but would appreceate if someone would share your tips / knowledge with me :)
