Healing Touch Part 4: All is Well

By ripplemaker

This is the last part of my Healing Touch series. After overcoming my fear, I came to the conclusion that all is well.  What happened?

I have come to recognize that wherever we are in our journey in life, there is indeed a pattern of sorts that we go through. Our situations may vary, the plot may be different, the people and the roles they play in our lives may be diverse; and yet if we look deeply, somehow there is something there that is similar too.

Healing Touch: Hot Hands? talks about the discovery of something “new” in our lives. It may be a door opening to new opportunities or a special person entering your life or answers to the questions you have always been seeking. In my case, it was noticing for the first time I had hot hands and the possibility that I may have a gift on healing.

Healing Touch Part 2: Wonder Woman? reveals the excitement we have when faced with a new meaning, purpose or goal…a new path that beckons to you. The many beautiful things I was able to do with the "gift" made each experience special. It felt good because I now had a deeper meaning and purpose. I felt good because I am able to do what my spirit yearned to do for the longest time; that is, to make a difference in the lives of people. This bubbling enthusiasm motivates us to get out of bed; ready to leap into whatever adventures that will come our way. The world is wonderful. There is much hope and joy coursing through our veins.

Healing Touch Part 3: Overcoming Fear shares what happens often times when we step into the road of new discovery. We may face all sorts of fears. We may face people who will belittle our dreams and rob us of the support that we need. We may face huge boulders blocking our way. Sometimes we want to run away and hide. When the going gets tough, quitting and giving up seems the easiest way out. But in reality, this is the perfect time for us to know who we truly are and how beautiful we are made of. This is the opportune time to recognize what we truly want. And when we do, it is the right time to rise above our fears. The firm decision of what we want deep within us will call forth the things and the people we need to help us move forward and onward.

A Part of Me

Father God, as I fondly call Him, has been a conscious part of my life since I was eight years old, the time I left home. Read my hub: Are All Our Journey's Worthwhile? I talked with Him (aloud so that my relatives thought I was nuts), cried with Him when I was homesick; asked Him to hold my hand when I was scared and played games when I was lonely so He could cheer me up. That is why I cannot NOT talk about God in my journey to healing because I cannot imagine my life without Him.

A Vision

When I was feeling better, I asked Daisy for another prayer session. She made me lie down and laid her hands upon me. “Father God, I am ready” I said aloud. “I am ready to accept the gift you have given me and the new path that I am going to take. I accept all of it.” As soon as the words flowed out of my mouth, I could feel peace descend upon me. Suddenly I had a vision of white sand on a beach. A pair of tiny slippers appeared next. Laughter echoing in the air and suddenly I saw myself slipping my feet into the slippers. Skipping and running, I ran and ran into another view. A garden this time. Father God was there. And little Daisy too. I held Daisy’s hand and we skipped in the garden with joy. It was a beautiful vision and I was smiling.

Affirmation

After, Daisy revealed to me an affirmation of my vision. While praying, she could “see” light coming from above and touching my forehead, my chest and stomach area. I told her, I just felt so calm and peaceful. Many times, I have to recognize truth when there is a peace that surpasses understanding. When it does, there is clarity of meaning and purpose. There is just a “knowing” that all is well.

A lot of things have happened since then. I’ve joined a Buddhist musical play, became part of the HubPages family and gained friends along the way, helped people heal hopping from one house to the other, in my own preschool, in the musical production and even distance healing! I’ve recorded a couple of healing chants, and together with Daisy have recently launched our Loving Abundance website too.

Each and every experience (both painful and joyful ones) has helped me grow more and more into becoming the kind of person I want to be. Also, it has helped me define what I truly want to do in life (healing, teaching, singing, chanting, writing and making a difference in people’s lives.)

In my personal journey with Father God, I have received so much love from Him (it will take a book to share all of it) and it is my deepest desire to share His love to all those who journey with me in this beautiful and magnificent thing we call life.

To your healing journey and mine, be blessed with healing touch always!  All is well.

Yesterday in church, the pastor spoke on a possible meaning and origin of the word NOEL ...

The likely meaning is that it is a contraction of the phrase:

"Now All Is Well" - which had been originally contracted to "Now Well" then finally "Noel".

I think the timing of this hub and it's title is quite inspired! Thanks!

P.S. Enjoy the slippers! They are a wonderful gift!

Hi BDazzler, I like that...NOEL..Now All is Well. The pastor is a wise man :-) When I told Daisy about the vision, she asked me if I knew what the slippers meant. I didn't know. She said it's a symbol for evangelisation. I laughed with delight then and I laughed again now as you say "enjoy the slippers." You are also a wise man, big brother!

BDazzler, I was reading the forum thread on "Who can hear Jesus?" And I agree with what you wrote about seeing the "fruits of the Holy Spirit" made manifest in a minister's (teacher, preacher and etc) life. I enjoyed reading your story too. Yes, I recognize Jesus who speaks to us and prods us to do certain things (share love or reach out to someone) in unexpected moments. LOL So I'm feeling very blessed. Thanks!

It has been wonderful Michelle to share this journey with you. I've really enjoyed it and have learned a lot. I reread your hub "Are All Our Journey's Really Worthwhile", I've reread Daisy's "Love is not the Answer It Is Our Being" and I've read some links for the first time and now I'm quiet, in awe and speechless. Love you.

Hi dayzeebee, It took me a lot of time to gather the courage to write this series of hubs. Now that I did, I could see I have grown so much from the experience. I am forever grateful to you for holding my hand every step of the way. You are indeed God's chosen angel to take care of me. I am feeling so lucky and blessed. Thank you so much. Love you dearly. As for the musical, it will come when it is time. LOL I await the surprise of heaven! Hahaha

I realized I had not commented on this one yet, but I certainly how your story comes center and all the lose ends are tied up at the end. It is almost as if taking part in the Budhist play and joining hubpages would be the end if this were a novel, but not the end if you know what I mean :).

Hahaha Yes SweetiePie, I know what you mean. Also, it seemed the journey has ended and yet, it is only the beginning too. :-) (Hint: A new hub is coming up soon-I can start on it after I finish preparations for our kids/teachers xmas party--wink!) I thank you so much for being part of my journey.

If someone is "born healer" (shaman, he, he), there is actually almost impossible not to accept the gift of healing and spreading the ligt of love to all. One just need to say =yes= to that because is important prart of spiritual evolution: learning the empathy, compassion, higher level of understanding. It is urge of the soul, pure desire of it. For us is the most beautiful job in the world.

Merry Xmas, dear Michelle, enjoy bathing in the eternal waves of light and unconditional love of God.

Hi Tajana-Mihaela, I'm nodding my head in agreement with what you have written here. No matter how much I tried to run away from the "fears" I faced, I discovered that the pure desire of the soul was too great for me to turn away from it. :-) I am learning more and more about empathy and compassion and understanding and YES! It is a wonderful and beautiful journey. Merry Christmas to you too. Sending you loving light my dear friend. God bless you! :-)
