To you I give my hand in peace,
To walk with on this earth,
To you I give a heart of joy,
I've carried from my birth.
To you I lend a helping hand,
A shoulder for your tear,
A gift of truth and admiration,
My gift you should not fear.
My gift I give with tender love,
With strings, forever gone,
Deep inside my heart to you,
There's friendship our life long.

Denny, thank you for your comments. I have a lot of feelings toward this poem. I wrote this to a very dear person who needed a friend. A friend is how I've been and will be to this person because she has a very dear and sweet heart.
This is a beautiful pom. I am going to share it with the members of my church. I think that this would be the perfect thing to get everyone not in the Christmas spirit to change their heart/minds.
