My Hollywood Husbands
70Being the boy crazy gal I am, I've been known to have a variety of "husbands". I have Hollywood Husbands--hotties from the silver screen, TV Husbands--hunks from the boob tube, and, of course, Musical Husbands--babes in bands.
I've been contemplating a hub devoted to my celebrity crushes for a while and thanks to the ever beautiful Shibashake, a fellow celeb crusher, it's finally underway!
My main fear was that this hub would basically go on forever and be so long, no one would ever make it to the end. (I told you I was boy crazy...) So, I decided in order to limit myself and the length of this hub, I'll separate the hunks into categories.
Now, sit back, relax and enjoy your eye candy ;)
Bad Boy Husband
Channing Tatum-- He looks like the guy in high school that was always getting into fights. The one that was cocky as heck and probably ran his mouth a little too much. The guy that all the girls wanted because, despite his obvious sex appeal, they all know he's got a heart of gold.
I first saw Channing in She's the Man. One of my favorite movies of all time. It's laugh til' you cry funny and he plays a great part. It didn't hurt that he spent a third of the film topless, either!
He's easy on the eyes, has muscles on top of muscles and can dance. What's not to love?
Channing's been in movies like Step Up, Stop-Loss and GI Joe and looks like he can play a variety of roles. From supporting characters to lead roles in action flicks and jobs playing the romantic lead--he can pull it all off.
Hilarious Husband
Dane Cook--I can barely watch this guy with out peeing my pants. Ok, that may have been a bit too much information there. Bottom line, Dane Cook is FUNNY. And you all know how we women fall for guys with a sense of humor, right? I fall victim to this trait a lot. I love a guy who can make me laugh and, honestly, sex appeal is nothing without the personality to go with it. I mean, who wants to have a conversation with somebody that has the personality of a wet mop? Even if they do have abs of steel and chiseled biceps, a strong jaw and...wait, where was I going with this?
Anywaaay...Dane Cook is, in my opinion, adorable. He's tall, he's funny, he's cute and he doesn't give a crap what anybody thinks. After years of preforming stand up, he moved on to movies and did pretty well with Dan in Real Life, Good Luck Chuck and My Best Friend's Girl. I'm betting we'll be seeing plenty more of Dane in the future. At least I hope so ;)
Give me an F Give me a U Give me an N N Y
What's that spell?? SEXY!
Old School Husband
Paul Newman--I don't know where I firat saw Paul Newman, but I know I've loved him ever since. It goes without saying that he was gorgeous, but he was also an incredible actor.
Born in January, 1925, he went on to star in around eighty movies, plays and television shows before his death in 2008. He won 37 awards, including an Oscar, and was nominated for 47 others. With movies like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Cool Hand Luke, The Color of Money, The Long Hot Summer and Road to Perdition, is it any wonder he's been recognized as much as he has?
Along with his acting credentials, he also has a string of writing, directing, producing and voice over creds, including a part in the Disney film, Cars.
Multi-talented and devastatingly handsome? Nice combo, if I do say so myself.
Barely Legal Husband
Shia LeBeouf---This is the husband that is probably a little too young for me, but who really cares, right? It's a fantasy, I can marry whomever I want!
However, I can't help but feel a little dirty for this one because, although he is a smokin' hottie now, I just can't shake the memory of Shia as a goofy kid on the Disney Channel. Looking back, who could have known how yummy Louis Stevens would turn out to be?
Maybe its the way his shirt always seems to be wrinkly or the dark scruff across his jaw. Maybe its the "Stick it to the Man" attitude. Whatever it is, he's got it and I want it...
Born June 11, 1986, Shia LeBeouf has a lengthy resume these days. With movies like Transformers, Indian Jones, Bobby and Eagle Eye under his belt, there are probably few people left in the world who don't know who he is.
Along with close to 23 movie credits and several TV spots, his face has graced the covers of GQ, Details, Parade, Vanity Fair (twice) and Arena magazines. Is it really any wonder why??
All Around Hunk, pardon my drooling, Husband
Hugh Jackman. I think that's all I need to say here, really. I mean, heck, if you aren't drooling over Hugh at some point, you're either blind or don't have a pulse. And don't give me that heterosexual male crap, either. I've heard of male crushes. I know you all like him too. C'mon admit it. Wolverine is HOT!
Ok, so what is it, exactly?
Is it the accent? Yes.
The body? Yes.
The ultra sweet personality and amazing acting talent paired with a gorgeous smile? Yes, yes and yesss.
Aside from being wonderfully delicious, Hugh is also quite the talent. He's done blockbuster movies, starred on a television show, and wowed countless audiences with his onstage performances. He's the star of movies like X Men and Wolverine: Origins, Swordfish, Van Helsing and Australia and has been featured on the covers of Entertainment, Women's Weekly, Parade, Men's Health, and Entertainment Weekly just to name a few and was even voted People Magazine's sexiest man alive in 2008.
Ok, so I guess you can probably tell by now that HJ is my ultimate celeb crush. If he were available and I were available and I lived in Australia and we just happened to meet...well...
I have to quote the incomparable Shiba here, who said, "Hugh Jackman always makes me think of chocolate brownies - solid, filling, and delicious!"
Amen.
Beefy Husband
Ryan Reynolds-- He's had plenty of excellent movie roles that probably didn't involve him taking off his shirt, but I can't remember what those were for some reason. Ryan does treat viewers to a mouthwatering eye full quite a bit, though. He's played hunky, usually hilarious characters in movies like The Proposal, Blade: Trinity, Waiting, Definitely, Maybe, Adventureland and X Men Origins: Wolverine. He's slated to star as the Green Lantern in 2011 and bringing back his Origins: character Wade Wilson in Deadpool, also coming in 2011.
Born in Vancouver in 1976, Ryan's managed a string of movies and TV spots, including hosting NBC's Saturday Night Live recently.
He's funny, he's gorgeous and he's, well...ripped! Ryan Reynolds would definitely be a cool guy to hang out with. If one could stop drooling long enough to actually talk to him, that is!!
James Bond Husband
Daniel Craig-- Some said he shouldn't have been Bond. I don't agree. At all. I think he does an excellent job as the infamous spy.
He's got a look that says he's tough as nails but in reality, seems to be a bit of a sweetie pie. At 41, he's still got a rock hard body that any Bond would envy. Pair that with stunning blue eyes and a gorgeous mug and he's irresistible.
Besides Bond, Daniel Craig has also graced the screen in movies like Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Defiance and The Golden Compass
The End...for now
So here's the deal: I KNOW there are hotties I've missed or left out. I knew there would be. But if I added every hunk that melted my heart on screen this list would be never ending!!!
SO, if you wondering where Bradley Cooper, Josh Lucas, Matthew McConnaughey or Paul Walker are...well I'm sorry!! I love them too, but I had to edit for time!! :D
By the way...can I just say I have thoroughly enjoyed making this hubs about one of my favorite subjects...MEN!!! lol

Well, this made a great ending to a tiresome day, great GREAT job Janetta and thank you, whew! Kimberly
Hmmm...I thought for a second that you married all of these dudes, Janetta *My Hollywood Husbands* That's probably why I raced over to see which actors stole your heart (and vice-versa). I really like your idea in either case and all of these guys should be so lucky to marry you :D Thanks, Janetta.
Cute hub!! I like Hugh Jackman...he's hot!
I'll take James Bond anytime!
So you play guys?
HAHA glad you liked it Kimberly!!
Thanks Dohn!! :D If only...lol
Yes he is JJ!!
Oh yeah, IV--he's a hottie! ;)
Not sure at your meaning, fish--but...I'll say, um yes lol

Excellent hub idea, Janetta!
My hottie is definitely David Beckham...YUM!
David Beckham...ahhhh...just a minute will I wipe the drool away. haha yeah he's pretty yummy :D
Hey J! This is awesome!
I am keeping this page up on my browser all day so I can tab to it whenever I need a drool break. Great stress reducer - healthier than smoking and eating brownies ;)
Daniel Craig - Oh yeah! I had a dream about him once - it was very good :P
Ok - back to work - be back again for my fix in 5 minutes or so.
Oh sooooo nice. I guess I should go back and see what you wrote now. :P
Hey Shiba!!! glad you enjoyed the fix! :D Did u see your treat at the end?? ;)
Hi Randy!! lol the words don't really matter, just knew I needed some text!! haha
BadCo is returning this weekend for one sole reason, to reclaim his girl, that being Janetta x
"Did u see your treat at the end?? ;) "
I sure did! And what a great bonus it is! Love that picture of Ed - very apropos. Maybe I'll have a dream about him tonight - the both of him ;)
Healthtip--Janetta is just fine with his replacement :D no need to pull him out of the chest for me, thank you ;) I'd rather stick with Art.
Shiba--I'm so glad I could provide you with dream material!! lol This was the funnest hub to work on and I'm about to start on my TV hubbies!!
Very entertaining. Great subject!
Thank you Sandi!
Great hub, Janetta, I thoroughly enjoyed it! I have to say, I don't disagree with a single choice :) But I have to add just one, Christian Bale. That man makes my knees weak :) Can't wait to read your next hub, hope it's as much fun as this one!
Thanks Lissa--yes Christian Bale could easily make the list :D TV and Musical hubbies are on their way soon, and maybe even a sports hubbie hub! LOL
Lord, I must be getting old. I don't know half these guys, but the ones that I do know are great choices, so I can assume that the others show your good taste as well! Nice job...if I liked that sort of thing. Ha,ha!
Now Chris if this were a Hollywood Wives hub, I'm sure you would know every single one of them lol It has nothing to do with age, just preferance ;) LOL
Oh my I enjoyed this hub so much--you have a few of my favs on here! But as I come down to comment--I see my most favorite man--Ed Norton, all the way at the bottom! Your description of him is very accurate--sigh- if only, if only. Thanks for the candy Janetta!
LOL anytime AIDY! glad you were able to get a sweet tooth fix. Although I can't take credit for the "banana split" that was all shibashake! ;)
Um, this might be the best blog I've seen yet.
I don't know whether I enjoyed Channing or Shia more though.
LOL thank you LOLA!! :D
A little bonus...
There was no way I could do this hub without adding a couple special pics for a friend ;)

It's nice to see you sqeeze one Aussie in to your Fantasy Husband list. I suppose it would be to be a stretch to put a Fox in there some where ? Hmmm . LOL
