My Illness
60I wasn't going to share this because it is so personal to me. I also don't want anyone worrying about me at all. I recently went to the doctor for a check up. I had been dreading it for a long long time. The news I got wasn't good news at all. He told me that I have a disease that is very common, but hardly ever diagnosed. He didn't know why other doctors refuse to diagnose this disease. He told me the short term for it is "furniture disease". Many men have it but they don't even know it he told me. I was sweating bullets at the time he was telling me this. I finally asked him what it meant to have furniture disease. He said, "Your chest has dropped into your drawers."
There is a way to keep from getting this illness. One way that a friend wrote about is Stay Healthy By Walking More And Driving Less. Please click the link and find out how to keep from getting this dreadful disease.

I know how you feel. My mechanic just informed me that my rear end is overloaded and my head needs reworking LOL.
lmao. I think you found the cure in comical medicine.
cute hub :)
Thanks for the comments. I love to laugh even if I have to laugh at myself. :-P
humor is great. I really do look forward to going through your other hubs though. I've just been in something of a silly phase, but of those I have looked at I've enjoyed (on a more serious level).
I'll try to drop a comment the next time I have a chance. :)
I have another funny one if you want to read it. http://hubpages.com/hub/Doctor--Doctor
thx for the heads up, going to read it now. I'm still in that silly stage. :D
good one
I'm sure that had you seen your doctor sooner, he may have been able to prescribe a magic pill that could have prevented that. It pays to get regular checkups. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Yes I understand what you mean, but you must know that I had no health insurance before and couldn't afford to pay for the visits myself.
you had me worried there for a minute SirDent LOL
Thanks for the read and comment, Dottie. Glad you enjoyed it. ;)
Walking cures the furniture disease ;). No just kidding, but it sounded good, did it not?
Yes that's true Sweetie, and if I had been walking for a long time before, maybe I wouldn't have the disease.
It is so sweet that you linked to me in your hub. I have linked to this hub in my latest hub about making healthy stir fry.
Thank you Sweetie. I just thought I would try and help others to keep from getting such a dreadful and fearful disease. :P
I appreciate it sirdent.
I just hope others heed the warnings and keep themselves in shape.
Here is my new idea for a hub "Avoid Furniture Disease By Taking Your Furniture For A Walk." Furniture makes a great pet because it will not have to do its "business," and you can even get a sofa with wheels to make walking it easier. Of course people may look at someone funny if they really did take their furniture for a walk, but hey, it is all in good fun. No, I am just being silly.
Sounds good Sweetie. I think it may be best to use bedroom furniture though. Have seen on TV many times bedroom furniture out and about. Of course that's been done so you may be right in using Living Room furniture.
Yes the wheels do aid in moving furniture. When I move again I am making my brother-in-law and his friends move all my furniture though, which is the great part about having them do it. I used to left couches and everything when I was moving, really gung-ho about it at one time, but with my back injury I had to slwo down.
Yea Sweetie, moving is hard on the back for sure. You must be careful how you lift heavy objects.
Sir Dent,
This was funny, definately get peoples curiousity up!! By the way thank you for joining my fan club:) Keeepa People a laughininin:):):):):)

Well I'll be. MY doctor never picked it up but I am going to go see him and ask why I am sure I have that too.
