Jackie joined my family since October 2008. He was give birth at one of my neighbors house. He looks like a rottweiler puppy but seems like not 100% originated from rottweiler species. The time he joined my family, he already in the age of about 4 months. I still remember the day when I saw him, he is trying to show his "fierce" by barking me non-stop. But the time he is barking, he keep on enduring himself back to my mother's sewing machine. But after few minutes, when I bound myself and feed him with some dog biscuit, he started to accept me. From that moment, I started to name him as Jackie. The reason is because of he is as active as action stars Jackie Chan.

After 1 month Jackie joined my families, he has dominated with his surname, Long. Thus we called him Jackie Long. I snap photos for his every single growing phases. He also enjoyed when I'm taking picture on him.

Nevertheless, he fall sick at the second months when he joined us. He didn't eat for 3 days. I'm getting worried and wonder things go worst when he have no energy to walk and run. Thus without wasting anytime, I've decided to bring him to doctor. But now the problem is I never bring pets to pets doctor before. As such, I don't know where to get contacts for dog's doctor. However I need to decide fast when I saw his face started turning pile. Therefore I go for telephone directories and found Dr. Maran, an elder and famous pets doctor in my town. Thus I brought him to see Dr. Maran, with my husband's help. Jackie Kept on looking at us when I brought him into my husband's car (although he didn't reject:). However, within 20 minutes time, we reached Dr. Maran's clinic.

The first impression for Dr. Maran on Jackie is "Beautiful Dog!". But after the appraisal, here comes 3 injections. Jackie was so cooperate and I'm proud of him. However Dr. Maran advised us to put Jackie at his clinic for about 2 or 3 days although he seldom take animals to stay overnight at his clinic. I agreed and Jackie was been placed inside a garage.

The next day when I'm visited him, he still the same, no mood and reject for eating. I'm so worried. However Dr. Maran and his wife calmed me down. They said everything will going to be fine. He just asked me to stay cool. Jackie will be ok.

Well, The 3rd day when I visited my Jackie again, he is busy "quarrelling" with Dr. Maran's pussy cat "Ginger", and proven he is recovered from sick! Hooray....I don't know what magic that Dr. Maran created, but I feel so relief when I saw he is getting better. So we brought him back.

My Father

Just can't understand, he hate my father! The first time he saw my father, he started barking non stop. He even try to bike my father. Although my father tried many ways to gain his trust, but he just can't stand with him. Till now, he will barking at my father every single time when he saw him. As such, as my mom always said, my father might did something wrong, thus Jackie can't tolerate with his mistake:)

Postman

Jackie Hate postman! For most and ever! He will chase after postman everyday when this poor man deliver letter and postage to my house. He will bark and show his anger although he is tired. He won't forgone any chances to let the whole world know that this postage guy is the one make him angry for the day. As such everyday when postman passe by or stop his bike in front of my house, I must get my Jackie locked inside the house. If not, things will burst! The postman will going to sue us for not watching our dogs properly.

My Neighbor's Naughty Kids

Jackie got angry when he saw my neighbor's kids. Those ugly and naughty kids always making him angry for whole day. He can't stand with them. The stupid kids throw the stones and rubbish on top of his head. Nevertheless, Jackie knows where to stop, he will only barking and chasing them like hell when his master around. If not, he will prefer to stay at the bottom of the chairs and enjoy his dream.

Delivery Man

Jackie getting more angry when he saw delivery man. The man that delivered for gas, grocery items, old newspaper and the poor postman that I mentioned earlier. He felt his master's assets have been taken away. As such, he felt so angry and moody when he saw these people around

Jackie's idol means the person that Jackie admire to. Basically Jackie only admire on one person, which is my mom.

There's a say that dog will only admire the first person that brings him up. As such, my mum is the one that brought him back and feed him with food and dog biscuit till now. Thus no matter where my mums go, he will follow. No matter who "challenge" my mum, he will fight for my mum. No matter who make my mum angry, he will chase after that person by all means!

Basically, Jackie will follow my mum everyday, follow every single steps that my mother go, lets me take a note on this:

7.30 a.m - My mum woke up. Generally she will sweep the floor and doing some gardening. Thus, Jackie will follow where she goes. In fact he will lead my mum to open my house door.

9.15 a.m. - My mum finished housework, then Jackie will follow her to take newspaper and sit beside her, accompanying her to read newspaper.

11.30 a.m - My mum finished reading newspaper and start to prepare lunch. Jackie will follow her to prepare lunch in kitchen.

1.45 p.m. - After lunch, normally my mum will take a rest at lounge, of course Jackie comes again, sit beside my mum.

2.30 p.m. - My mum take a 30 minutes noon sleep. The funny part is, Jackie will also taking a noon sleep and he will wake up when my mum wake up.

5.00 p.m. - My mum got a favorite cooking show. Thus Jackie will waited my mum in front of TV and if my mum didn't turn up, he will start getting worried and go and get my mum at every single corner of my house.

8.00 p.m. - He will rest and sit beside my mum while accompanying her to watch TV

10.00 p.m. - My mum go to bed, Jackie go to bed TOO:)

Jackie actually doesn't like dog biscuit. We get knowing this when he joined us for few months. Nevertheless, he loves meat, especially pork and chicken. Here are some Jackie's favorite food:

Pork Rib

Pork rib mixed with rice, is the favorite food for Jackie. He don't like confusing flavors, he loves original taste of food. He get excited when my mum preparing this dishes, especially when these pork ribs are mixed with plain chicken soup.

Chicken Meat

Second preferences for Jackie is chicken meat, although chicken is the universal food for human and pets. However, Jackie loves boiled chicken meat. He can accept fried or roasted chicken, but they are still come second after boil braised chicken.

Caramel Candy

This is the favorite snack for Jackie. He will get one of it every evening. Either me or my mum will give him one candy in a day.

I hope Jackie can grow up healthy and happily. Thus I hope he can take care of my mum well. I hope he can calm down his anger when he saw postman passed by my house. I hope his fur can stay firm and smooth forever, although this is impossible. And never the ever, I hope he can start to independent. He is too dependable and pampered now.
