My Journey Towards Online

Today when go through some of the Hubs here, I think I can publish one. So for that I need a subject. After thinking I decided to take Internet as today’s topic. So Let us start the journey towards ONLINE
As far as my Experience is concerned I have to call this as a Journey. It started when I was on 12th Standard. You can imagine what the position of Internet on the year 1999 was. For me and my friends Internet seems to be a wonder. A person with an email id considered as great personality. You could feel laughing here. But was true. During this period computers were very rare in households. So only the place to access Internet café and computer institutions
So with the immense curiosity towards computer and Internet, I joined for internet oriented Computer Course. At the very first day the counselor explain to us what a computer is. For the demonstration he used a PC also. I was so happy that I am seeing this machine for the first time. So here start my Journey.
But according to our syllabus classes for Internet was scheduled at the end f the session. First we learned Dos commands and then came to Windows. One day we played a Game also in Computer. Gradually me and my fellow classmates learned the basic lessons and at last that day arrive. Yes the day for Internet
We all, especially me were really tensed and curious about what is going to happen. Our teacher first took a theory class and then he connected PC with telephone line and it took long time to connect to internet. So here a new word was opened to us. Yes the new world -INTERNET. That day my teacher helped me to create an email id and still that is my main mail id.
The Journey continues and still going on. Years passed and obviously rapid development happened and happening in this arena. Now Internet connection got speed and this is the time for Broadband. On the course of journey I got struck with HUBPAGES and I am happy with my friends and fellow hubbers here. Still my journey goes on and on and on ………………

Yesterday I am preparing an old book to place on the Ebay.
If you want to sell books, you have to show lots of material.
This book had no paper cover and was just a plain brown surface. No coloured photos inside. Nothing unusual so far.
Went to Google and did a search on the author, For five minutes I was in Happy Land, there was so much material. My shock came when I found it was all in French. In my mind those savvy people could have gone to Google and had the information turned into English.
I guess with the Savvy like you, around to help people like me,I will learn slowly.
