First of all, we all should likely think of creativity as related to talent. We are all born with unique talents and gifts that help us along in life, whether financially, daily, or in service to others.

When reading the Old Testament, for those who do, we find that after Moses led people out of Egypt, God assigned people to do things according to their talents. When reading the New Testament, it appears that people also did things according to talent. Especially if we read the part of spiritual gifts, we find out that every person had one or more gift to offer.

Creativity is what helps Christian authors write their novels for the field. If we didn't have creative Christian authors, there wouldn't be much for them to write about.

Creativity helps artists create, musicians to create new works, and much more people with their personal talent.

Creativity can help house the poor and feed the hungry. It can help build websites related to the cause, come up with new ways to raise money to help the poor, and make creative structures related to a poor person's needs.

I believe creativity would be considered one of God's gifts to help others and to help oneself to work better in everything--whether causes or just earning the money to help them.

This in the writing world might be known as writer's block in the writing world. This is when no more good ideas come forth from the author for a while and it is upsetting for the author.

Things can be done to resolve the dropping creativity. This can be taking a trip into the countryside to some beautiful location and writing about on some paper--or the reverse--you can go to see a land fill or polluted area and write what's wrong about it on a piece of paper.

There is also a task called brainstorming or freewriting that can be done. These have to do with either writing things that come to mind or writing about a specific opic on a piece of paper and looking over the results. Another way, if it is because of mood, is to do something you like to do and cheer yourself up. This can be going on vacation, a favorite sporting activity, or going out to eat somewhere special. This can refresh your mind. If it is a fantastic or noteworthy experience--it could actually be your new idea!

Actually, when I would write creative short stories and poems--it was not so much a cycle as a short burst of ideas and then not being able to do it for a while. Sometimes this was getting bored with doing the certain activity and at others I was too upset to think of anything.

I get bored easily with doing things as I am a Jack of All Trades. I like to switch focuses often to do with creativity--writing, art, crafting, making films, etc. kind of switch around on what I feel interested in at the time.

However, writing online makes it easier to write, as many sites can come up with ideas for you. There is also a great deal of information to find online which also helps--so this doesn't always happen to me anymore.

It can be hard though when there is a task you need to complete but can't think of anything to write. That might be time to take some time off to get refreshed creativity.
