1. Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961)

Audrey Hepburn Plays the role of Holly Golightly, a girl who moves to New York City in the hopes of finding herself or what she wants. Holly is rather odd and does what she wants when she wants because her ultimate goal is to find where she belongs. I love this character because I identify so well with not knowing exactly where you fit in. It's a great romantic comedy.

2. Star Wars Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi

I've always loved the original Star Wars trilogy but the final episode in this six part story is my favorite. It's one of the few times where I actually like the good guys winning as they usually don't so I tend to focus on reality and root for the bad guys. If you think the original Star Wars trilogy is too geeky for you, give it a try because between the awesome battles, the love story between Han Solo and Princess Leah, and the ultimate survival of the galaxy makes this movie so worth watching.

3. Zoolander

Zoolander is a hilarious comedy about a male model (Ben Stiller) who is brainwashed to be a murderer. Derek Zoolander is famous for his poses and he now is faced with competition for the first time by a younger model, Hansel (Owen Wilson). Hansel and Zoolander's rivalry makes this comedy hysterical for any movie night!

4. Jaws

I am a shark enthusiast and although this motion picture shows sharks in a horrible and inaccurate light, I still enjoy the film. This film portrays a killer great white shark that is just thirsty for human flesh (which is not what real great white sharks are like) and it causes an epidemic of fear on this island. Many fishermen try to kill the shark but none are successful and some of them are taken down by the shark. Even with it's poor graphics I would not recommend this film for anyone who is afraid of sharks or is planning on swimming in the ocean in the near future. It has been known to cause irrational fear.

5. About A Boy

About A Boy starts Hugh Grant and tells the story of a man who leads a superficial life and needs to grow up and a boy who is being faced with reality far too early in his life and needs the chance to be a kid. The boy annoys Hugh Grant's character into a weird friendship that ends up taking odd turns but helping them both find what they need.

The soundtrack for this movie is amazing.

6. Forrest Gump

Forrest Gump tells the story of an extraordinary man who is extraordinary because of his innocence. Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) achieves many things throughout his life and even though his IQ is too low to technically be allowed in a regular public school, he manages to live a fuller life than most of us will ever live. He embraces life and people, no questions asked.

This movie also has a great soundtrack.

7. Pan's Labyrinth

Pan's Labyrinth is a Spanish movie that takes place during the Spanish Civil War. It tells the story of a girl who believes in fairy tales when everyone around her is telling her that she is too old and magic doesn't exist. She then learns that she may be spirit of a princess of another world with many different fairy tale creatures and she must prove that she has not become too human in order to reclaim her rights to the throne. Along with this she is dealing with a step father who doesn't want her and a mother who is dealing with a very difficult pregnancy. This is the best foreign film I've ever seen.

8. The Lion King

Disney's The Lion King is one of my all-time favorite movies. The story of how Simba grows up as an ambitious little lion, turns into an apathetic teen, and finally an adult that takes responsibility is just like human life. This movie also mirrors several historical events which is fascinating to me that the creators were able to write them into a children's movie. This movie is fun for anyone.

9. Pirates of The Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl

This movie has an outstanding cast with Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, Orlando Bloom as William Turner, and Kiera Knightly as Elizabeth Swan. Johnny Depp makes pirates comical as he portrays Jack Sparrow as a pirate that has a swagger, always slightly drunk, and always three steps ahead of everybody else. The love story between Elizabeth Swan and Will Turner is not too exciting as it is the classic battle of the classes, but add the piracy and it turns interesting! The graphics are outstanding, the score is outstanding, this movie is positively great!

10. Remember the Titans

Remember the Titans tells the story of how a football team brought a town together to overcome segregation. Denzel Washington stars as the head coach of the football team. There is much chaos when he is appointed to this position because he is black and this is the first year the black and white schools are integrating. Through his football camp, the team manages to find out that the color of one's skin isn't as important as what's underneath. However, trouble arises when they get home from camp and have to face the real world and all the hate that comes with it.
