Have you been to Cracker Barrel recently?  The food there is simply delicious!  Cracker Barrel recipes are simply amazing too!  The atmosphere brings me back to the good old days.  The staff is friendly and the service is superb.  I have noticed that there is always a long wait when I want to eat there.  I guess most people have already recognized what a great business Cracker Barrel has!  Even the long wait works great for Cracker Barrel, as this gives you time to look through the Cracker Barrel gift shop!  I don’t know about you, but I always look through the Cracker Barrel gift shop while I’m waiting for my table.  If I get tired of looking at all the gifts they have, I can always sit outside on one of their rocking chairs! 

Anyways, I wanted to take just a minute to discuss my favorite Cracker Barrel recipes.  If you have been living under a rock for the last ten years, or you just want to try something different at Cracker Barrel, here are four Cracker Barrel menu items you are going to want to try!

First, you have to try the Cracker Barrel Chicken Fried Chicken.  This entrée is fried chicken at its finest!  Trust me when I say this.  If you love fried chicken, then you are going to love this dish!  The entrée is served with a very large serving of fried chicken topped with sawmill gravy along with sides of several vegetables. 

If you are there during breakfast hour, or you just love breakfast any hour of the day, you should order the Cracker Barrel Old Timer’s Breakfast.  This is the ultimate hearty breakfast for breakfast lovers everywhere.  It includes pretty much everything including eggs, grits, sawmill gravy, buttermilk biscuits, and various other sides.  This is NOT the breakfast to order if you are on a diet!

Third, you should try the Cracker Barrel Cheesy Broccoli Chicken Casserole.  This is another great chicken entrée.  I have seen this recipe listed online, and I have included this recipe in some of my other articles.  This is the perfect recipe for the chicken cheese broccoli casserole lover!

Finally, you should try Cracker Barrel’s hot chocolate.  I know this doesn’t seem like something everyone should order, but you want to try new things right?
