Social websites

These days the internet seems to be experiencing a change .In the past ,there were many online social sites that offered entertainment ,in the form of chats and blogs and groups ,for all to socialize . Now they seem to have gone a step further . Now very popular new sites are offering all that the usual social sites do ,plus even better services, with an added benefit .

They pay you to have fun ...

Recently I was exploring new sites to find sites that could potentially promote my yahoo debate group . I typed in "free RSS service" in a google search and found Yuwie . I used that site to run my yahoo groups RSS feed . Then basically moved on . Well , my email begins to fill up with "friend requests" from the Yuwie site , and I thought that very odd . I've been on social sites where friend requests were rare and usually involved cams and naked blonds @ 1.50 a minute . So I returned to the site and began asking questions . I inquired of several why they were asking for friend requests, that I thought it was odd that total strangers would be trying to add me so adamantly . I remarked " its almost as though you guys are getting payed to do so ."

One finally confessed : "uhm yea "

In this hub I will be reviewing and exploring the wide range of open door opportunities in the online communities . I just find it amazing and newsworthy that people are getting payed to socialize and have fun .

The first site I've already mentioned is Yuwie . Of which is the reason behind the photo of King Louis The XIV . At that site my username is "King Yuwiie the XIV . Some call me "your Majesty " ; but I prefer "My Lord " .Or just plain King Yuwiie. This is a constant source of entertainment for me :)

But the site is just amazingly fun and the people are so excited and promoting their wares , socializing ,networking and encouraging others ;the camaraderie is heart warming .

Theres any thing you could possibly desire there as far as socializing -plus

The next site I discovered after finding Yuwie and seeing that there could be some new fad or craze of online social sites that revolutionize all of our online worlds is Rotatrix .

Its burnt orange and somewhat slow to navigate .Yuwie seems to have an affinity for the color red , likewise ,Rotatrix seems to have a love affair for the color orange , all that aside, it seems new and has potential .It offers groups and blogs that you can create and offers some revenue and networking capabilities .The people seem pleasant and layed back and overall a slower paced site, as opposed to Yuwie, that seems fast paced and growing exponentially by comparison.

It seems to allow people with adsense to directly embed their adsense codes as well , if I'm not mistaken .

Our next stop is Zen Zuu . I believe someone had been emailing me an invite until I just signed up . I was looking for places to blog in my never ending desire to promote my fledgling Yahoo debate group . Its probably the slowest paced of all , but the site is responsive and its offers the usual amenities.I wont go into much depth here ,because I'm new to the site and will leave it to the curiosity of the interested .

MyLot and Qassia

These are my newest discoveries and what I know about them is limited. To the best of my knowledge they offer some revenue.MyLot seems to offer a claim blog service that I'm interested in .It also looks like a place to put photos and possibly generate revenue from that. Qassia is an interesting place ,it seems really interested in any "intel' that you can offer it ,and presumably rewards you for whatever information youre willing to give.

And thats it for now. No , no one is going to become Bill Gates with these sites , but theyre fun and interesting and useful. I've learned quite a bit just exploring them and I'm sure the experience is worthwhile in itself.

Hello! I was wondering if you'd like to update this, considering all the things that have transpired.

I am going to write a hub soon on my Yuwie experiences.

Sorry I missed your request, if I'd know it was you I'd have responded sooner.

Now, why didn't you tell me you were here too? lol

hugs and love, Debi
