Most popular and best sushi rolls!

1. Rainbow Roll

This is my all time favorite sushi roll and one of the most popular out there. Usually this roll is filled with crabmeat on the inside draped with avocado slices, butterflied shrimp, and 3 or 4 different kinds of fish. The most commonly used fish is tuna, salmon, and yellow tail.

2. Popcorn Lobster Roll

It starts out as a spicy tuna roll, which is spicy tuna on the inside, and is smothered with bits of fried popcorn lobster. A sauce made from mayo, sesame oild, and siracha hot sauce (spicy orange sauce) is drizzled over the top along with eel sauce. If you live around a Niko Niko, theirs is the best.

3. Hawaiian Roll

Tuna is my favorite fish. There is nothing like some good quality tuna and avocado draped over california roll. This is where the quality of a Sushi Bar's fish shows.

4. Philadelphia Roll

This is probably the single most popular roll in the U.S. The Philly roll is rice stuffed with salmon, cucumber, avocado, and cream cheese. Some places top this with smelt egg. I prefer them not to. If you fry this roll it is called the Vegas roll, which is another one of my favorites.

5. Volcano Roll

The volcano roll looks like a volcano erupted on your plate. It's a spicy tuna roll weighted with spicy crabmeat, baked scallops, and drenched with the spicy orange sauce and eel sauce. It's a mess, but it's heaven.

6.Crunch Roll

Another roll that is very popular. This roll is stuffed with shrimp tempura (fried), avocado, crab, cucumber, and has tempura pieces piled on top. Good stuff, if you're not into fish.

After this list, it's pretty much up to the person writing the menu. The flying monkey roll etc. I actually ate at a place that had a roll called the stink roll.

Don't forget the edamame and sake. Comment and add some other rolls.
