54i almost relocated to australia recently and the best advive i can give is .
apply for your visa at least 6 months in advance , because it sometimes takes that long to get it . if she plans on it being a permenant move make sure she appies for the 5year to resadency visy or else she will have to leave and reapply when it runs out .
search the aussy search engines for jobs look closely and and apply online . do this before you move because a. she will have a job waiting when she gets ther and b.some companies wil help with relocating expenses.
another thing if she dont have a visa application in most companies wont even read her application/ resume . but dont get disouraged australia is in real need of workers and she will get alot of help to get her going good places to look is westen autralia perth area , melborn, qeeensland and sydney not necessarily in that order .. hope this helps

i live in Australia. i did live in england but moved out here. I courently live in perth Australia. If she is comming out here and she wants to work then i recomend a working visa. if she wants to come out here and then come back to America a few times i recomend a short term visa it doesent cost allot and it doesent take so long.
