My wife and I have been building and collecting models for years, now that the kids are grown less of them get broken than in previous years. I collect old tin toys and wooden ship and Airplane models. She collects Art glass. Need less to say we have quite a clutter of neat collectible items at the house.

I found a company that sells Hand carved replicas of famous and not so famous Airplane models. The are high quality, highly detailed and are made of mahogany. The time spent to carve, sand and paint these models must be immense.

They are beauties!! They won't be flying around your house tearing things up but for those aircraft fans out there, they make an excellent desktop novelty!
