My journey coming home
43I will share with you our homeless journey
Take heart, this is coming from one, who has been battling homelessness, joblessness, and wishing for a way to get on her feet.
No man is going to come and be my hero, they usually turn out to be either abusive, or just can't cut it as supportive material. It seems, most men I meet, have no idea where their going or what they are doing anymore than I do. At least I know where I want to be. Question is getting there.
The entire purpose of going to school was to get my life on track. To be independent, self-sufficient, and successful. Well, that fell through, and so did the rest of my life.
No, I need to find daycare and a decent paying job, with a company willing to hire me, and a huge group of people willing to help me take care of my baby, while I try to get on my feet.
We start in a homeless shelter this week. And by doing so, my risks got a whole lot higher, but I just got more and more resources too. As well as access to resources that would normally be closed to me.
Still, Section 8 housing??? what a joke!!! you have to try to get on a waiting list!!!! Wait to Wait, to maybe get help. What's their purpose? What is their intentions? What the tarnations are they thinking.........Homelessness doesn't wait 2 years........we can't.....well.......hopefully, Growing home will help me find a way out of all of this hill of nonesense.
My goals are daycare, housing, and a job. And eventually a car. MUST HAVE TRANSPORTATION!!
Take care everyone..........God Bless.
