These list are the gifts my kids made me realize for the last couple of years already

• The morning good mornings plus kisses2.
• The evening good nights with kisses
• The laughter on my corniest corniest jokes
• The "I love you dad"s that I hear from them at anytime.
• When they smile at me
• The hugs that I get from them
• When they run to me when they are hurt or in fear, letting me know that I comfort them and give them a sense of security
• When they ask for little things like
• The sorries that I hear when they are at fault.
• Just uttering the word "DADA!" makes my heart jump with joy
• When they are sick and asks for me instead of their mama
• When they are sick and they hug me tight and cry on my shoulder
• Learning a word or a phrase that I taught them
• Speaking that word/phrase to other people
• Singing a song that I taught
• Letting me play with them
• Asking me to play with them even if I'm tired
• When they show their love to their Mama, lolas and lolos, titas, titos, their cousins
• And the best gift they gave me is that our relationship give's me a glimpse of how God love's us - ME. Although I may not come near to that. But when I receive those gifts from my kids I think I understand how God must be feeling when I tell Him I love Him, or when I do a good thing. Or when I say sorry for my sins. Or when I am hurting inside and I come to Him for comfort. Maybe that's what it means to being Child Like for the Kingdom of God.
