Water Tower

Every year through work, they organize different shopping trips around the holidays. For a reasonable fee, we have a chance to sign up for it. A few co-workers decided to go this year and I thought it would be a great idea. We took the bus trip to Downtown, Chicago. We were dropped off in front of the Prudential building in the morning. Four of us walked down on Michigan Ave. It was such a beautiful day with the sun shining! We stopped at a couple stores before we arrived at Water Tower. Everyone was kind of hungry and decided to get some lunch. We were going to stop at the California Pizza but the place was closed. I guess business was not good. We thought we would try the Cheese Cake Factory. There was such a long wait for the table. Two of the ladies had the urge to go shopping, so we decided to split.

I went to Bandara with Mehl, one of the four. There was more of the waiting time. We waited around fifteen minutes and found a couple spots to sit at the bar. We were so hungry and wanted some food! I ordered a Seared Tuna Sashimi Salad. It was very nice and delicious but it was overpriced. Mehl had a Chicken Salad which she had that before. It was kind of big and she thought it was good. Along with that, we had the Skillet Corn Bread. We finished lunch and started our shopping. We stopped at different stores on Michigan Ave but the main attraction was the Water Tower. It was so crowded on Michigan Ave. People were shopping, stopped and watched some of the street performers.

We arrived at the Water Tower. Everyone loves Water Tower in Chicago! It has a lot of stores. We spent a lot of time looking. Time just went by so fast that we needed to head back. On the way back to the bus, I took some pictures along the way. The city was so beautiful that it took my breath away! I cannot help myself to share some pictures with you. I hope you will enjoy that and want to visit Downtown in Chicago soon.

I wondered what the thumbnail tool was for. Now I can see! I really like the way you used the photos. And it was especially interesting because I have never been to Chicago!
