Today I'm going to talk about the power of network marketing using MySpace. I'm sure you've heard about MySpace.
Although MySpace marketing is becoming more and more popular among musicians, artists, and models, the giant online social networking community is still ripe for guerilla marketing by direct marketers and retailers.
Marketing on MySpace has great potential because of the sheer number of users, as well as its unique community and social networking features. Many MySpace users are deeply dedicated to keeping their profile current and making as many connections with other people in a variety of different ways. A successful MySpace marketing venture will capitalize on the web of human relationships and social networks that has drawn so many people to it in the first place.
Think of MySpace as a separate Internet with its own community. Yes, it's that big. With its unique users rapidly approaching 60 million, it's safe to say that being well known with even a fraction of those 60 million could be extremely beneficial to your business or company. Best of all, it is all completely free.
How to promote your Squeeze page on Myspace
A. Create a Myspace Account
1. Go to http://www.myspace.com/ and create an account
2. Copy the HTML of your Squeeze page
Note: don't copy all of the html, only the section between
<body>
</body>
3. Log into your Myspace account and go to edit profile
Add the copied html into the "about me profile box". Click "save" and you will see that your whole squeeze page is there!
4.You may go ahead and modify the rest of the profile by entering your interests and stuff like that.
B. Get Seen!
Of course you want to get seen, that's why you need to get lots of friends.
1. Getting Untargeted Friends:
Getting untargeted friends can be done several ways:
Join a Train
So what is a train? Essentially it's a list of people, you add yourself to the list and repost the list and the cycle continues, sort of like chain letters in a sense. So why would I want to join one of these trains? Well, you can make hundreds of "friends" in a very short space of time, I made 500 in about an hour by joining a few trains. The more trains you join, the more friends you will make!

Manually invite Untargeted Friends
1. Click on "Browse"
2. Enter search preferences meeting your target group. (you are looking for people interested in "Porsche"? What about: men, 20 - 50, single, married, divorced, in a partnership, swinger, US, are here for: dating, relationship, networking, friends3. Visit each profile and click on "add to friends"
Manually invide targeted friends
1. Go to "groups"
2. Join groups meeting your target group.
3. Check out threads, visit profiles of people that posted the threads and "add to friends"
As I already outlined in my report: Doing things manually takes time, getting things automated costs money!
But if you feel MySpace marketing is what you'd like to focus on, I highly recommend getting a software called Badder Adder

So now you have friends… so what? Most of them will visit your profile and some definitely will subscribe to your mailing list ot get the free report and to find out what you have to offer! But it doesn't stop here.
About Bulletins
In order to market via MySpace you use something called a "Bulletin" which is basically a message you can send to all your contacts at once. It's important to make your message stand out, so people will notice it and click it. No matter what anyone tells you, don't have titles like "MySpace is closing down", "Free porn" or something totally irrelevent for the content of the message for 1 simple reason, you're not attracting your target audience. If you had a title like "FREE IMAGE HOSTING FOR YOUR PHOTOS!" then you're essentially pre-qualifying your audience, they click the bulletin and what's inside matches the title. If you have "MySpace is closing down", sure people will click but they sure as hell won't be bothered to visit your site!
About Groups
Myspace also offers topic groups which are similar to message boards or forums. They are great for advertising your MySpace profile and get targeted visitors to your MySpace site. All you need to do is click on "groups" and find groups that match your squeeze page topic. In the example of advertising "porsche", you would of course join car related groups. Do not post blatant ads!

Something that just came to my mind:
A friend of mine who makes a lot of money marketing onMySpace told me that one of the top converting products are ringtones. I have not tried it yet, but I probably will. If you have some time left, why not give it a try! There are several great pay per lead programs offering free ringtones.You get paid up to $8 for every lead that signs up up for FREE ringtones! E.g. Zone 3d RingtonesThere are several great pay per lead programs available at Modernclick (By the way - Mondernclick offers dozens of great pay per lead programs!) You will have to join as an affiliate first. Joining as an affiliate is of course FREE. Click here After that I would create a new Myspace Profile, add about 5,000 US friends to my profile using Badder Adder (or buy 5,000 untargeted friends at Mysocialmarketing). Then choose a pay per lead offer at modernlick (ringtones e.g.) and send out a bulletin with the e.g. free ringtone offer. I bet you will get a response rate of at least 1%. So if you get paid $8 per lead the campaign should result in a profit of AT LEAST $400. No too bad In fact I would expect a response of at least 5%. That would be $2000 in your pocket.

There is no doubt that Myspace is an extremely powerful marketing weaopon. You can reach Millions of users! In addition MySpace marketing is still pretty new. Some fellow marketers I know of make $1000s just by marketing on MySpace!
