Nokia is planning to release a new phone which is a minimalist version of the N97. The product will be namen N97 Mini Nomia. The cell phone is not only smaller than the N97 but also expected  having a much cheaper price.

The difference betweeen the N97 is the size of the Mini keyboard which is reduced by eliminating the navigation button touchpad. Ergonomic of the cell phone will have the same level because the size of each button will be the same. Other differences are Mini N97 does not have a camera cover and the memory capacity is also estimated only 8 GB or 16 GB, not like the N97 where it is equipped with 32 GB memory.

The interesting thing is the price difference. Nokia N97 is predicted to sell the Mini around 100 Euros less expensive than the standard N97. N97 Mini was introduced in the Nokia World. The model itself has emerged since the end of last year. The rumors about N97 Mini began to appear during the first photographs released by Engadget. In the photo, N97 and the mini version phone has the same shape but with a smaller size. Rumor is said that N97 mini was deliberately released by Nokia for clearing other vendors who will release a N97 clone with a small size and use the Mini name behind it.

Being a rumor since the release of Nokia N97, the mini version finally come with an N97 exact shape, but smaller sizes and a prices tag around 450 euros.

Nokia N97 Mini was introduced by the Executive Vice President of Nokia Anssi Vanjok in Nokia World 2009 in Stuttgart, Germany. The device is very reliable to provide social networking experience in cyberspace with more fun. Why? because N97 Mini is the first Nokia product integrated with Ovi Lifecast service that can be used to report incident and photos based on location throughOvi Maps and A-GPS. Next, the report can be loaded directly into the largest social network, Facebook.

This device is also a traveler's dream because it is pre installed with an application called Lonely Planet that  will tell the cell phone user about 155,000 information on interesting places around the world to visit, such as tourist attractions and restaurants.

Nokia N97 Mini comes with a 3.2-inch screen with touch screen support that slides to display a full QWERTY keyboard as an alternative navigation. 8 GB memory capacity is installed and could be expanded to 24 GB with microSD. In addition, this device is equipped with 5 MP camera with dual LED flash and Carl Zeiss Tessar lens. It is also important, the battery endurance reaches 12 days (standby time) and 28 hours to turn the music without stopping.
