NASA and ESA are planning a mission of several billion dollars to Jupiter

NASA announced that Jupiter would soon be explored during a mission in
which the budget has been estimated at several billion dollars.
NASA and the European Space Agency (Esa) will join their resources
for the project. They plan to send two probes, one conducted by each
agency, to study in detail the gas giant and its four satellites.
It will take approximately 6 years to reach Jupiter. With
investigations launched in 2020, two different sites, therefore the
probes reach Jupiter in 2026. Three years on site would be devoted to
the study required.
The probes would spend almost a year orbiting satellites Ganymede
and Europe. The engine NASA would consider Europe and the possibilities
it home life, while the ESA study Ganymede, Jupiter's only satellite
known to have its own magnetic field. Callisto and Io will also be
studied: Callisto has an ancient crater on the surface, providing
information about the history of the solar system, while qu'Io is still
active volcanic level.
The two agencies should undertake more detailed studies before
they officially launch the mission. Engineers at NASA and ESA also an
ambitious mission to Titan, satellite of Saturn. Ed Weiler, Associate
Administrator at NASA, said that "even if the system of Jupiter was
selected to begin a mission to Saturn is clearly a priority for the
scientific community."
