PLAYOFFS!!!.....this is what we have all been waiting for, and amazingly it did not disappoint. Why do I say this?.....there wasn’t a "Oh well the Spurs are going to win another Championship just like they do every other year" and neither was there any "repeats" made this year as The Boston Celtics were hoping to do (which i must say that i would have not been happy with being a HUGE Lakers Fan).

The way I see it is that two things can either happen to sum up this great  Playoffs of 2009:

1. There will be a new beginning as Dwight Howard being the unstoppable force that he is around the paint and the Orlando Magic’s European Style of Play continue to shock the world as they beat The LA Lakers winning the title and sending Kobe Bryant and the Lakers home once again after making it to the final stage last year and falling in the hands of the Boston Celtics.

2. Or the LA Lakers winning the Title in their 30th Appearance in the NBA Finals!!! Therefore, Kobe getting his 4th championship ring and finally getting that heavy monkey off his back about not being able to win it all without Mr. "Shaq"tastic.

YES, as a fan I want option two to happen and YES, the second option is way more reasonable and likely to happen, BUT it doesn’t stop the fact the Orlando is peaking and playing the best basketball at the best time and it doesn't help that they have the most dominant post player in the league (on both sides of the floor). Oh and let’s not forget that they just beat the Cleveland Cavs. with "King James" himself on his game.

Everyone wanted this fairytale ending to this year’s amazing playoffs which was KOBE vs. LeBron...Lakers vs. Cavaliers in an Epic battle of the two Greatest Players in the world. Well Orlando proved to the whole world that it takes a team to win a Championship (in this case at least make it to the championship) and thats exactly what the Cavs. DIDN'T have which is highly unfortunate for every fan who wanted to settle who was best between the two players.

In other news the only big thing that has been a major problem this year is all the technical fouls, ejections, and flagrant fouls being dished out by the refs. The way the playoffs have been officiated this year has been absolutely terrible. They contradict their selves (Refs.) each night. The fouls are getting so "touchy feely", kind of  like children are out there playing and the refs. are teaching them "The Children" how to play proper defense back in YMCA rec. ball days. Hopefully in the NBA Finals the refs. will figure out that these are grown men playing and there shouldn’t be any babysitting and technical or flagrant fouls that are questionable only to be reviewed later and most likely overturned.

Anyway my prediction on the final series this year?

Hmmm.....Let’s see...I take The Black Mamba and The Lake Show over Orlando in six games.
