An interesting if irrelevent side note to the NBA all-time leading scorers revolves around ABA players. If ABA scoring statistics are combined with NBA stats, Julius Erving, Moses Malone, and Artis Gilmore all climb the scoring lists. George Gervin goes up a little also, although his best years were in the NBA. I'm not an advocate of including ABA statistics, but I do find it fun to compare them once in awhile.
