Well, here it is finally after completion of Preseason. The first Game of the NFL Regular Season. Where both teams will be knocking out the rust for 2009. Hosting from Heinz Field will be the home team the World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers vs Tennessee Titans. This game will be a true ice breaker and will be played at 8:30pm (ET) televised on NBC Network. So, lets analyze this match up. Last year the Pittsburgh Steelers went 12-4 overall and won the Super Bowl. The Tennessee Titans had a good year, but came up short and did not make it to the big bowl. They had a finishing record of 13-3 which was enough to win their division. So, we have two fantastic teams going head to head with two of the best defenses in the NFL and very strong offenses with good running and passing games. Both, teams have great legendary quarterbacks and really show similarities with talent. Neither team has a lot of players not returning from last season . So, they have depth experience and team spirit. In order for the Tennessee Titans to win this game they are going to have to rise to the occasion and really establish some great offense. Tennessee is going to need to capitalize early in this game and any mistake that Pittsburgh does on defense they are going to have to be able to score on those mistakes. The Steelers on the other hand are playing at home and have the definite advantage. However, if the gold in black Steeler's become over confident the white in blue Titans with some red coloration will Titan them up real fast. The Titans are just the team to put them in check real fast. The Titans will definitely need to be almost flawless in the game to return home with a victory. The Titans being the under dog will need to use this motivation to their advantage and hope Pittsburgh will under estimate them. I predict that the Tennessee Titans will have a great game. I see the first half as a defensive half with a low score of 3 - 6 in favor of Pittsburgh. The second half I see a very aggressive and confident Tennessee Titan football club come out on the field for the 2nd half and be in the zone totally on fire and bounce back with a incredible finish.
