NFL WEEK 10

NFL Gameday Predictions Week 10

During Week 9, I was 12-1. Almost perfect, but the Buccaneers decided they would take advantage of the struggling Packers, and win their first game. Sometimes you get on a roll with your predictions, so hey, I’m not mad. Lol….. Week 10 will feature games that will be interesting to watch like; Eagles at Chargers, Patriots at Colts, Bengals at Steelers and the Cowboys at Packers. I will preview these games and give my predictions for the week.

Week 10

Bills at Titans – The Titans are 2-0 with Vince Young starting at QB. Ok, Chris Johnson is mostly to blame for this. He is leading the NFL in rushing yards, and he is averaging 6.7/yards per carry. So they don’t have to strictly pass. Trent Edwards is coming off of a two game break after suffering a concussion. Terrell Owens could be out this week with a hip injury. Who will they blame this week?

Titans 24 – Bills 13

Jaguars at Jets – The battle of the 4-4 teams. The Jaguars have struggled this season, but RB Maurice Jones-Drew has been superb. He is the sixth leading rusher in the NFL and has scored a league leading 11 touchdowns. So far for the Jaguars that has been it. The Jets started off hot this season. But after a loss, the seams appear to be coming apart. QB Mark Sanchez has begun to struggle. Fortunately RB Thomas Jones has been able to take some of the load off Sanchez and allow him to grow.

Jets 20 – Jaguars 17

Falcons at Panthers – The Panthers gave the Saints all that they could handle last week. In doing so they lost a key part of their defense in LB Thomas Davis. But they feature a pretty good rushing combo in DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart. In the first meeting this year against the Panthers, QB Matt Ryan passed for three touchdowns. They also have a good RB in Michael Turner.

Panthers 23 - Falcons 17

Eagles at Chargers– The Eagles have been playing like chamelleons, changing how they play every week. They loss to a lowly Raiders team, then they seemed invincible against a good Giants team. The Eagles loss to the Cowboys, because Tony Romo and Miles Austin ran the perfect fake slant/pump pass route. The Chargers beat the Giants because the Giants were too conservative. But the Chargers still don’t have that championship- contender swagger.

Chargers 24 - Eagles 21

Broncos at Redskins – The Broncos have lost two games in a row. Maybe the Ravens did expose the Broncos offense. Fortunately, they have enough time in the season to correct the problems. Plus they play the Redskins this week. The Redskins have just been horrible to say the lease this year. As long as they keep pointing the finger at the wrong problem, they will continue to fall. But the Broncos are struggling. My upset of the day!

Redskins 26 - Broncos 17

Bengals at Steelers - The Bengals have been great in late-game comebacks. They beat the Steelers in week 3. With RB Cedric Benson running like he is at UT again, the Bengals are hot. The Steelers boast their own hot-track, winning the past 5 games. They have beat two good teams, the Vikings and the Broncos.

Bengals 24 – Steelers 20

Lions at Vikings – Well, the Vikings have been impressive. Adrian Peterson is still the best running back in the game. Their receivers are coming along great, and Brett Favre, well, I’m sure you know the story. If the Vikings do what they are supposed to do, Brett should be able to rest most of the fourth quarter. The Lions were winning 17-0 last week and lost to Seattle. Yep yep….

Vikings 40 – Lions 17

Seahawks at Cardinals – The Cardinals have a great road record of 4-0, but their home stand has been so-so. Cards’ QB Kurt Warner should have a good game passing and WR Larry Fitzgerald should have his usual “great” day. The Seahawks have had injury problems. They had a good showing by QB Matt Hasselbeck last week, completing 39 of 51 passes. But that was against the Lions.

Cardinals 30 – Seahawks 20

Buccaneers at Dolphins – The Dolphins are a good team even though their record doesn’t show it. Other teams are struggling to stop the Dolphins’ wildcat-offense. Expect the Bucs to struggle too. Although the Bucs may be hungry for another victory after beating Green Bay last week, it will be hard for them to duplicate such big plays again this week.

Dolphins 27 – Buccaneers 17

Saints at Rams – Rams’ RB Stephen Jackson is a great running back on a horrible team. His good years are going to waist. Saints’ QB Drew Brees will have a field day today throwing to his flock of talented receivers /running backs.

Saints 45 – Rams 17

Chiefs at Raiders – Ahhmm, unfortunately, I have to preview all the games of the day. ( lol...no disrespect) The Raiders and the Chiefs are playing about the same. Bad. The Raiders can boast a victory over the Eagles. The Chiefs well, they can boast a defeat over Larry Johnson.

Raiders 20 - Chiefs 17

Patriots at Colts- Colts' QB Peyton Manning is playing MVP type football. Patriots' QB Tom Brady is getting back into that top QB mode. The Colts have struggled the past couple of weeks. Manning will be on top of his game today. Brady will be ready too. Both QB's have a host of weapons at receiver. But both teams have struggled in the run department. Home field may play a big part in today's game. The Colts secondary is suspect and the Patriots have Randy Moss and Wes Welker.

Colts 41 - Patriots 34

Cowboys at Packers - Packers have been struggling but are still a dangerous team. The Cowboys have to keep pressure on QB Aaron Rodgers. The Cowboys are playing well, but still have not developed that knock out punch. They will need to take Green Bay out early.

Cowboys 17 - Packers 12

Bears at 49ers - The Bears have not really played well this year. The 49ers have a hard nosed coach and sometimes you can see it in the team. 49ers RB Frank Gore should play a big role in todays game.

49ers 20 - Bears 18

Monday Night Football

Ravens at Browns– The Ravens loss to Cincy again last week. After a hot start, the Ravens have fallen to 4-4, pretty much out of the NFC North race. What is really bad for the Ravens is that it’s the defense that is no longer setting the tone. The Browns have just been horrific all season. It is hard to understand a professional team being non-competitive.

Ravens 30 – Browns 10
