Dhaka stock exchange is going to starting a special campaign to attack Non-resident Bangladeshi’s investment in stock market. As Part of this campaign a delegation of DSE will visit UK next month.

A large number of Bangladeshis are living abroad. But NRB investment in country’s share market is very poor. Many of them are paying millions in unproductive sector like building and market.

Many of Non-resident Bangladeshis are investing in London, New York or Mumbai stock exchange. But there is great opportunity to invest in own country’s stock market. Investment of NRB’s will grow the strength of Bangladeshi share market.

Maximum NRB think that capital market of Bangladesh is not so strong. Investing opportunity to Fundamental company is very limited. But the situation has been changed. Capital market of the country has expanded. Daily trading of the Dhaka stock exchange has crossed Tk.1000 core. Current market capital of DSE is Tk.1237, 959,242,085. So the market has strong capacity to have a large number of NRB investments.

About 100 thousands NRB operating their investment activities into DSE through ‘Non-Resident investment Taka (NITA)..
