Savvy E-Marketing For Nail Technician Profits

Nail Technicians, are you struggling to make it as a nail tech? Do you remember how excited you were when you got your nail tech license? Now that you started the journey into your passion, maybe you're finding you are not making the kind of money you want or getting clients is ....well.... tough! You know all the latest nail trends and techniques and maybe your at the hottest nail salon in town. So what's going wrong?

Well there may be a few things wrong with how you are approaching your new business. Yes, it's a business! Which means you have to think like a savvy business person if you want to turn your hobby into a great career!

If you're a reader of my blog Nail Tech Cash then you know and understand what I mean when I say , think like a business person!

For example... let's talk about what happens when a client comes in to see you. Do you service them and then let them walk out without any kind of way of keeping in touch with them? Hmmmm.

If you are not getting the name , phone number and email address of your nail clients before they leave your shop. I urge you to do so! If you're not , you're losing a lot of additional revenue you could get on top of what your already making!


Why Use Email?

1. Keep your services fresh in the minds of clients that have busy lifestyles. So when they forget your email reminds them about getting their nails done. They will be sure to come to you because you made the contact.

2. Send out weekly/monthly specials on manicures, pedicures, nail art, acrylic nails, hot new nail polish colors for the season, hot new products your using.... etc. Keeps clients coming back.

3. Send out incentives to refer others to you. Generate more clients.

4. Send out tips on keeping up nails and feet between visits. Show your clients you care inside and outside of the nail salon.

5. Get clients you have not seen in a while to come back with discount offers. (You can also call them for a personal touch.)

Develop a relationship with your clients. When they come in call them by their name and talk with them. You don't have to get personal .... but try to develop a relationship with them that feels like they are special part of your business. Every client whether spending a lot or a little should feel like you appreciate them.

Let them know that from time to time you send out discounts offers on services, coupons, nail care tips..etc.. and to fill out their name , telephone number and email address on your pad or form you have. You can let them write it or you can write it. Make sure if they write it, you verify what they wrote, sometimes handwriting can be a little wild.


Always send Emails with Permission!

Make sure to always, always have permission to send an email. Never ever, ever, ever Spam... that is email sent without permission. Make sure the email account you are using does not have any stipulations or limits on how you can use your email. Most don't , with the exception of spam. No one tolerates spam so don't do it, they will shut your email down.

Be different, show you care, stay fresh in their minds, make it so they want to come back!
