Naruto Bleach Duel - Naruto Openings vs Bleach Openings

Naruto or Bleach? Which do you prefer, which is the better anime? Do you prefer Naruto movies over Bleach animation? Or you fancy more Bleach videos over Naruto epidodes? In this hub we will put each and every one of Naruto Opening as well as all of Bleach Openings and I'll let you decide what is the best among them!

The openings portrayed will be all the openings of Naruto and the first nine openings of Bleach. After the 9th opening Naruto became Shuppoiden and I won't enter beyond that because this is hub is already huge as it is. If this becomes a sucess I can create another hub comparing Naruto Shupoiden Openings with Bleach's intros.

You will be able to vote one on one (that is Naruto Opening 1 vs Bleach opening 1, and so on) and you'll have ONE LAST POLL, at the end of the hub, where you can vote for which of all the 18 openings you saw is the ultimate best one!

People tend to forget voting on that one, and is the most important one in order to really ascertain which anime is the winner in the opening department - Naruto or Bleach?

You can say that the first opening really defines what kind of show it is.

So as our first contenders, here's Naruto's Rocks!, by Hound Dog. A funky music, and a colorful opening that portrays the relaxed and easy-going tone of the show, featuring a presentation of all the initial characters of Naruto.

As for Bleach's Asterix, by Orange Range, I consider it one of the best openings of all time (but don't let my opinion influence you! ^_^). Quoting myself in my top 10 anime openings of all time hub:

"Bleach's 1st opening is breathtaking. Orange Range became famous from Asterisk, a nice spirited song that makes us smile when we listen to it... but incredibly, the song is actualy not the best of this opening. The rest is... the track is perfectly synched with a modern animation, combining manga and anime drawings in different styles that always look cool (that spray scene rocks!)"

Second course: Naruto's Haruka Kanata, by Asian Kung Fu Generation, in a fast paced well presented opening, featuring all the main characters, against Bleach D-tecnolife, by uverWorld, a more slow opening but full of style, typical of Bleach.

Next we have Naruto's Kanashimi wo Yasashisa Ni (turning sadness into kindness), by little by little, a more nostalgic opening with sweet scenes and memories of childhood we all once had.

As for Bleach's Ichirin no Hana (a single flower) by HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR, we see a noir opening, that uses quite a bit of animation tricks, especially stills to give it some very artistic feel.

 With both interesting and groovy songs, that make you wanna tap your feet, maybe what can distinguish Naruto's Go!!! ,by Flow, from Beat Crusader's Tonight, tonight, tonight of Bleach, is the style and synch of the openings. I let you decide which presentation is the better (I have my own oppinion, but won't share eheh, I'm secretly hoping you feel the same way).

 Naruto's Seishun Kyosokyoku, by Sambomaster, is perhaps not the main feature of a beautifuly animated opening, that uses several techinques to better instill a sense of blis upon the viewers.

As for Rolling Star, by Yui, it's quite the opposite. This great music is the star of the opening, but of course, it's complemented by the great syncronization and drawings that are the trademark of Bleach anime!

Naruto's No boy, no cry, courtesy of stace punk is a a frenetic tune, and not surprising, so is the whole opening - action packed till the last second.

Bleach's Alones, from Aqua Timez, is by contrast slow in the start. But develops quite well along with marvelous animation effects that gives the opening an old but cool look!

Enter Nami Kazi Satellite (Snowkel), Naruto opening #7, that delivers you colours. Lots and lots of it, always in interesting ways, painting the canvas of the characters in a rather unique way.

As for Bleach's After Dark (Asian Kung Fu Generation), you'll see mostly black and white. But who says only two colours can't become an imagery rainbow! Just watch ^_^'

As for Bleach Chu-bura, by Kelun, well this one fits well in the free spirit and easy goingness of all the opening, bringing a soft smile to the watcher :)

Yura, Yura by Hearts Grow Full,  is all about shadows... shadows fighting, shadows of the past, visual memories of hapiness. Quite well presented and using the light tone typical of Naruto.

Velonica, by Aqua Timez, is all about stills... stills that don't go still, frames that don't want to remain framed - i'm talking about the graphical effects, of course :)

Choose wisely, these are pretty even openings.
