As for the cultural and historical value, this park have 15 monasteries that come with the end of the XV end early XVI century. They are Krusedol, Petkovac, Rakovac, Big Remeta, Divsa, New Hopovo, Old Hopovo, Jazak, Small Remeta, Grgeteg, Beocin, Privinas head, Sisatovac, Kuvezedin and Vrdnik - Ravanica. Because of the significant role of monasteries in the development and preservation of culture, literacy and spirituality of the Serbian people, Fruska gora is ofter referred to as the Serbian Holly Hill. This not too much big mountain beauty was once an island of the Pannonian sea. Its highest peak - Red čot is situated 539 meters of over sea level.

Fruska Gora abounds with places perfect for a trip and camping from spring to late fal. The most famous is Strazilovo near to Sremski karlovac. Sremski Karlovac is a famosu historical place, often called Serbian Athens. In the Strazilovo is buried Serbian famous poet Branko Radicevic. Actually after 30 years of his death, in july 10, 1883rd), his bones were officially transferred from Vienna to Karlovac and buried in Strazilovo. At the memorial pyramid made of stone from all over Serbia, the carved verses are: "Mlogo hteo, mlogo započeo, čas umrli njega je pomeo." ( engl.
