If you have hemroids, there are many natural hemroid treatment options available that can give some relief without surgery. Without a doubt, the single best thing you can do for your hemroids is to watch your diet. We currently eat too much processed foods. Make sure you have a diet rich in fiber and take a supplement as an extra precaution if you feel you can’t get enough with diet alone. Fiber will allow you to go more comfortably with less straining. If we all took this small step, we might be able to avoid hemroids in the first place.

One of the most common hemroid treatment options available are the creams and solutions you find at every drug store. They are inexpensive and provide temporary relief from your symptoms by controlling swelling in the anal area and providing relief from itching and other discomfort.

Suppositories can be a good solution for some people. They give moisture to the affected area so that the hemroids are allowed to heal and don’t keep flaring up.

Doctor’s can prescribe some medications that can help reduce vein swelling in the anal cavity which can then reduce the incidence of hemorrhoid problems. As with all drugs, sometimes the prescription drug cure can be worse than the disease.

Homeopathic Treatments

In addition to the more typical hemroid treatment solutions listed above, there are some addition things you might try, not all of these have been scientifically proven but some people have achieved some relief with these homeopathic cures. As with all natural or homeopathic medicines, make sure to tell your doctor because even natural ingredients can have side effects or interact with prescription meds you may be taking.

Try drinking chamomile tea several times a day. Use a more upright position when using the toilet to allow gravity to help your business along. Use butcher’s broom to reduce swelling or horse-chestnut for stronger vein walls. Some people say that drinking aloe vera juice helps with itching and discomfort. Sleeping with your legs elevated can help people who have hemroids due to bad circulation.

When it comes to hemroid treatment, of course it’s in your best interest to prevent additional flare ups as well as just control the symptoms. So to that end, the single best thing you can do is live better. Eat more fiber. Spend less time sitting, more time moving. Try to eat more natural food and less processed food. Just these small steps can help you better manage your hemroids and avoid surgery.
