A smooth and clear skin is every persons' desire no wonder beauty and wellness industry spend billion of dollars to market their products which promises people to achieve a healthy and young looking skin, but even the most expensive beauty crème cannot compare its healing and anti-aging effect of the natural herbs mother nature has given us. So go natural if you want to have a healthy and younger looking skin without worrying of the negative side effects and the high cost of commercial beauty creams. But be patient, natural stuff takes longer to work, so wait at least two weeks for benefits to begin to show.

Rejuvenating Bath Soak: Combine 1 ounce each of at least four of these herbs for a firm and younger looking skin.Take a rejuvenating soak for not more than 10 minutes. Then apply plant base oil (avocado oil, extra virgin olive oil, virgin coconut oil, or almond oil) to seal in the moisture. Do this three times a week.

  • Comfrey - works against signs of aging due to its high allantoin content. Allantoin promotes the growth of bone, cartilage, and connective tissue, the latter being essential to healthy skin.
  • Sandalwood - improves skin tone.
  • Aloe gel and roses - has a cooling and healing properties.

  • Lavender - has a calming, antibacterial action working well against acne and puffiness, and is reinforces by the roses, which also hydrate the skin.
  • Peppermint - has cooling and anesthetic as well as stimulating to the blood flow in skin.
  • Thyme - eases aches and pains and acts as a mild deodorant.
  • Lemon Balm - has antihistamine and antibacterial action that is useful against psoriasis, eczema and acne.
  • Chamomile - has antiseptic properties which is very soothing for the skin.
  • Sage - contain antibacterial and anti-oxidant properties.

Natural skin moisturizer and toner:

  • Aloe. Full of healing chemicals, aloe is very cooling and soothing. Place the aloe gel (inner part) in a blender, mix aloe with a little vitamin E if you find it drying.
  • Brewer's yeast. This has been found to increase collagen production when mixed with a little water, wheat germ oil, or yogurt and patted gently onto the skin. Rinse off once dry.
  • Honey. A daily coating allowed to dry for 5 minutes before rinsing off is a very effective skin cell regenerator.
  • Mayonnaise and egg yolk. Mix the yolk with ¼ cup of mayonnaise and apply several times a day as an anti-wrinkle lotion.
  • Full cream milk. After you soap and rinse your body apply the cold milk all over your body and allow to dry then rinse completely.
  • White grapes. Cut in half and apply gently to the skin around eyes and mouth. A handful of grapes straight from the blender make a refreshing and toning mask to leave on for 20 minutes before rinsing off.
