My dog likes it. I just wish my local Hannaford grocery stores would carry the adult Chicken and Rice flavor, too.

I am always happy to hear from people who have actually tried these products. Where I live we do not have much in the way of shopping so our options are pretty limited. From where I sit Lassie dog food looks like it rates right up there with the most expensive pet foods and is available at our local grocery store.

I have 3 Dachshunds. This is the first lamb & rice dog food they have eaten without sniffing at it, looking at it and walking away. I hope the grocery store where I purchase it does not discontinue it. The store is a smaller one compared to it's supercenter branch stores. The supercenter stores do not carry it. Why??
The Lassie foods have significantly helped our dog - we think she has an allergy to corn. She used to chew on her feet constantly, but stopped shortly after we began feeding this food. Also, she's been treated for yeast problems with her ears all her life & though she still has some problems with them, they are much improved. We were happy to find a reasonably priced food that would help her. She has been eating Lassie for about a year now. We alternate the chicken & the lamb flavors. She likes the chicken best. She is 14 years old & we wish we'd have know about this food sooner. I enjoy your review & comments on the contents of the pet foods.
