Hi susan can I really ask a question ok here goes Ive have 3 inside cats all fixed males the oldest one of 3 years started getting an urinary infection I take him to the doctor he gives me medicine and uses a needle like thing to clear-him out but it keeps recurring so I changed hard food which I never do to Purina one special care in a blue bag and he just hates it do you know of another hard food that is urinary friendly that I can try I give him also half a can of friskies soft food at night before bed.

Ober,

Stay away from all Purina Products. Make sure what ever you are feeding does not have corn, wheat, or soy. These three grains will cause kidney problems. I am not sure what to suggest for cat food since I don't know what is available in your area.

Hi Susan, I just rescued a PWD who was pregnant and now I have 9 puppies 4/12 weeks old in addition. I really have no idea of what to feed them with all the problems with pet food now since I haven't owned a pet in over 3 years. I used to feed Nutra Nuggets Lamb formula, but am concerned about that now since the recalls. I am looking for the least of evils I suppose at this point in time. I would love to feed raw, but am not sure I will have all the resources. I am currently living in a motor home in San Diego, but normally live on a Schooner (sailboat) in Baja California Sur, Mexico out in the wilderness. Do you have any suggestions.
