Ever dream of owning your own chain of diners or bakeries, becoming a paparazzi, plan a wedding, designing your own theme park or being able to control your family?

While some of these goals may have to continue being a dream in real life, you can try out your dreams on some very entertaining games. I love to escape my real life, and try to serve people before steam comes out of the top of their heads.

Here are some great games, that are pretty inexpensive and defintely worth the money!

The Object of the Game: The object is to make sure that all of the customers are happy and that you meet your money goals. The way to do to this is to make sure that each customer is seated in a timely manner. That you make sure to take their orders when they raise their hands. Then make sure that food is delivered to them after it is made. Drop off the check, then seat the next table. The more money you make the better. After 10 levels at each restaurant you will either open a new restaurant (in DD1) or you will move onto the next restaurant (DD2).

The Challenge: You need to make sure that you keep the customers happy. This isn't always easy. Everyone gets angry at a different rate, so you need to watch them very carefully.

Carey's Tips: It's best to chain all of the actions that you do. You get more points this way. This means that you should pick up all the orders at one time, then deliver all the orders at one time. Trust me...this will either make or break you. There are certain customers that are extra challenging. Beware of the businesswoman and the men on their cell phones. The businesswomen get upset very quickly. The men on their cell phones get angry quickly and make other people very angry. Watch where you seat people. Diner Dash is very fast paced game. If you do not enjoy games like this you should choose another game!

The Object of the Game: The object is to make sure that all of the customers are happy and that you meet your money goals. First make sure that you notice each customer and get them a menu right away. When they are ready to order a bubble will appear over their head with what kind of cake they want. This is very important, if you don't make them the right cake they will not accept it. The longer they wait the more impatient they become. To bake a cake choose which style cake you will make, press the shape on the oven. When the oven is done your cake will pop out. Next take your cake to be frosted by clicking on the corresponding frosting to what the customer has requested. In further levels you will also add toppers to the cakes. Give the customer the cake, and collect the money.

The Challenge: You need to make sure that you keep the customers happy. This isn't always easy. Everyone gets angry at a different rate, so you need to watch them very carefully. Make sure that you are giving them the correct cake. Starting all over makes them wait longer, and makes them very angry!

Carey's Tips: Make sure that you purchase the correct equipment. It's important that you have at least one quick oven and froster. It's also important that you have the correct footwear for the job. The faster you are, the faster you can get things done. Watch out for the kids, cupid and businesswomen. They can all get impatient very quickly. You can afford to lose the sale. Purchase a little oven to make cupcakes with, and give the cupcakes out as the customer starts to anger. The Easter bunny can also be a challenge, but he's not as bad as the other three. Getting cake toppers is a great way to make extra money, plus your customers love them!

Take pictures of stars, big foot and the Lochness monster, be like a real paparazzi!

The Object of the Game: The object is to expose each person/creature by collecting evidence of the rumor. Make sure that you find everything on the list that is hidden in the picture. If you get stuck you can always ask the informant for their help, but it will cost you. The cost goes up with each question that you ask.

The Challenge: Some things are not hidden very well, so they are really easy to spot, but it's those last couple of items that will really leave you feeling stumped. The other part of the challenge is to match up the pictures. Make sure to look for really small details in the pictures, the more pictures you take, the more money you get. Finally take pictures of the star that you are trying to catch. Don't be too quick with the button this may leave you without the picture.

Carey's Tips: In my experience it's best when you can't find something that you are looking for, to take a break from it and go back later. Sometimes you see things that you didn't see before. The clues can be tricky. The more you seek the better you will be at finding things. Try to ask the informants for as little as possible. This will cost you a lot of the money that you just earned. This game is for people that enjoy hide and go seek style games.

The Object of the Game: The object of the game is to find all of the items that are listed in each of the pictures in the album. After you complete a album page you will get to do a task like matching cards to get things for their honeymoon, or choose the story line of how they met.

The Challenge: The objects in this game are hidden really well, so you have to have a really good eye to spot everything. Start with the objects that you can find first, and go back to the ones that you are having trouble with.

Carey's Tips: Things are not always as they seem. Sometimes you need to look at things multiple times before you see it. My suggestion is that if you get stuck leave that picture and work on the next. They give you three cupid clues that show you where the objects are. I never played a level where I didn't need to use these. I would focus on finding all but three of the objects and use your cupid clues for the rest. They don't cost you any points, and they are a necessity!

Create theme parks that meet the specifications of the different goals.

The Object of the Game: The object of each park is different. Some of the parks have an object to have a certain number of people in your park or a certain amount of money by a designated amount of time. For example they may ask you to have 700 people in your park with a rating of 700 by October of Year 3. This means that you have three years to meet those goals.

The Challenge: Most of the time there is not enough space or money for all of the rides that you need to meet your objective. Be creative, put things on stilts or in the water to maximize space.

Carey's Tips: Try not to get too carried away with picking out the most expensive rides, or charging too much for your food. Sometimes the best way to look at it is from a consumer's point of view...are you going to go to a theme park that is really expensive and only has a few rides? Or are you going to go to a place that has a variety of rides and food and attractions. This game is really fun especially if you enjoy theme parks. Be careful of building your own roller coasters, they are very expensive and most of the time don't work. You waste a lot of time and money doing this.

Keep yourself and your family alive!

The Object of the Game: The object of this game is to create characters and have them survive in their virtual world. If you plan to have nice things you will have to work and study for them. Make sure that your kids are well taken care of. Make sure that you are feeding everyone and that you notice when your characters have to use the bathroom. Create relationships with other Sims.

The Challenge: Just like real life, it's sometimes hard to get up and go to work everyday. This is important in a Sims life. This is the way that you make money. You also want to make sure that you are balanced with all of your needs. Check the bars on the bottom to make sure that your Sim is clean enough, doesn't need to use the bathroom, has enough room, has had contact with other Sims, has eaten, and gets sleep.

Carey's Tips: You can have so much fun with this game. Just make sure that you monitor your characters needs, especially in the beginning. When you are building your house make sure that every room has doors. I know this sounds stupid, but you can lock them in and they will die. It's not good, and then their ghost is just hanging out. Make sure that you interact and create relationships with other Sims. This is your chance to control how your life runs!
