Animals. Most people care for them. Some people hoard. The only pets I own are 4 turtles. Thats not to say that I dont care about other animals or get tears in my eyes when I see animals being abused. Ive been watching miami animal rescue and other shows like this and it makes me so heartsick to see what damage people do to their so called pets.

30 cats being put to sleep because their owner left them to reside in their own filth and get diseases. A rottweiler so angry he cant stand being touched so he bites. Horses so emaciated their ribs are showing. It's sad and disgusting behavior by humans.

People need to either have the money and the know how to take care of these pets they desire so badly or not get them at all.

I think there should be harsher punishments for people who do this to animals. What is an $80.00 fine going to tell them? Basically, when you get your welfare check, pay the fine and hoard some more.

It makes me sick to my stomach.

If you suspect someone of abuse, please call your local animal shelter.

Update: As I continue to watch these shows, I feel sicker and sicker. I saw one the other day where a cat had a skull fracture and a broken rib. His owner did this to him by abusing him physically. Disgusting. Yea, I am aware that pets can be extremely annoying, just as children can be, but it is NEVER ok to take out your frustrations on either. If you are that volatile dont own any animals. Just as I feel that people should have to take classes and psych tests to become parents, they should also have to do so to become a pet owner. If youre that angry, punch a hole in the wall or hit your pillow. The cat/dog is just a helpless animal, completely dependant on it's owner. Id like to see someone do the same to the person convicted of animal cruelty. Now THAT would be justice. I watched one show where the woman convicted of neglecting her horses so badly that they died get sentenced to jail with a diet of bread and water. She was fat, her horses were sickly skinny. I wonder how badly she suffered without her coke and cheetos. They shouldve starved her as she did her horses.
