"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win." - Mahatma Gandhi

For those of us who are determined to succeed in the MLM industry, this inspirational quote accurately describes the various feelings each and every one of us will experience, as we strive for success. We may possibly face each phase with several people we know, respect, and love. It can be emotionally draining and discouraging; but, if we begin each day being fully aware that some will ignore us, laugh at us, and fight us, it helps us learn to handle their objections and move on toward the winner’s circle. In fact, as we successfully overcome objections, we become even stronger and more determined to reach our ultimate goal.

The bottom line is that people want to see us get ahead, just not ahead of them. The network marketing industry is not for those who are easily influenced and swayed by the thoughts and opinions of others. It’s not for the weak at heart. It’s not for the whiners and complainers. Network Marketers are a unique group of individuals, from all walks of life, who are determined to design their own future despite the objections and jeers of others. It’s for those who can balance family and life while meandering through multiple obstacles along the way. In time, all of us eventually see that little glimmer of light at the end of the long, dark tunnel. To catch that glimpse, though, we must stay focused, stay determined, stay balanced, stay professional, and stay tuned because we are gonna win!
