Write Copy With the Woman's Needs In Mind
I would like to share a win win writing lesson on how to market to woman by keeping woman's needs in mind while you write copy.
Think about it, woman are in a hurry to find what they want. They think more about their security online than men do. Men are more of the impulse buyers than woman by far. Keep all this in mind while writing copy, because woman will be more focused on your content and information more than any flashy videos and photos streaming at blazing speed across some advertisment or website copy.
To make sure a woman will be interested in the value content you try to provide, you first need to "Make Sure Your Site Is Not A Gimmick!"
Women are more concerned about privacy and security issues than men are and that is why it is so important to build a relationship with the woman reader. Not a loving relationship where you want to meet in public for lunch but build a comfort zone that the woman can focus on her needs and how you will provide solutions to their issues.
Focus on their needs and you will find much success in the fundamentals in any given situation.Make it a good habit
Example: Woman love to shop so if you have a business model that caters to that specific target market then you would not be throwing shoes at them now will you? No! You will show case them on a nice platform with correct lighting and some kind words to grab their attention. Focusing on value so that the woman will be impulsed into telling a friend.
Or you would show the shoes on a nice website with appealing words that does not push the shopper away. Leave everything wide open don't create a small box for the women to feel stuck in.
So in closing I would like to say that while writing copy if you keep the woman's needs in mind you will have a win win situation. Not that men don't buy on line but if you keep the woman's needs in mind the men will naturally follow.
If you are interested in learning more about getting paid to shop on line please feel free to contact me personally and I will explain it the best that I can. I am here to help each and everyone of you that glances at my words.

Great post, Matt ...
In general, I know that men's and women's brains work a little differently (smile). I learned that in medical school about thirty years ago and that knowledge has served me well over the years.
Thanks for pointing out the critical writing issues to keep in mind when addressing women. You're right ... we do not like glitzy, flashy videos or anything that jumps off the page at us! Totally frivolous.
I'll have to say that one statement you make in your article is NOT TRUE in my case. I HATE to shop. I'll never understand what women get out of "window shopping" all afternoon at the mall, either.

great post, you are on the money when it comes to a woman being woowed while shopping, It's almost as if the items are talking to her while she is looking.. Keep up the good work.
Hi Matt,
You make some interesting points about women shoppers. I have to agree with Melanie...I'm not a 'shopper' either. I'm a 'buyer'. I know what I want first, then don't muck around, just go find it. I never did understand the whole window shopping thing.
Something else to keep in mind is that women control 80% of the purchasing power anywhere! We are certainly a great target market.
We love the power!
Keep up the interesting Hubs.

I am not a "window shopper". I like the UPS truck to bring it to me even better...LOL ... I go after what I need and the rest I leave behind.
Nice focus on your hub.
Take care

Hi Matt,
You really have got us "sussed"!
Admittedly - I'm not a window shopper, just too busy and in a hurry as you say!
Thanks for reminding us to keep it in mind when we write stuff.
I love to shop, all day if the money holds out. If I see sites that cater to women, I'll stop and shop, for a long time. When I do shop online, I need a lot of detailed information in order to trust the business. "Cut and Dry" won't get it for me. I think women are researchers when they shop. The more information the better. It is good if men keep that in mind.
Thanks, Becky Joubert
