Here's a bright idea... Stop being a Slave to Your MLM! Your MLM company doesn’t own you.., they just want you to think they do.

Network marketers are traditionally taught to focus on their MLM opportunity to the exclusion of everything else. When marketing your MLM opportunity, especially online, this is a HUGE mistake.

You must remember your network marketing company is NOT your business. YOU are your business!

Network marketers are solutions providers and your MLM opportunity is only ONE possible solution you have to offer your clients. Nothing more.

Your MLM does not define you or your business nor should it be your only income stream. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

As Ann Sieg points out in her excellent book “The Renegade Network Marketer", the basis of any successful business is a successful marketing plan. And any marketing plan worth it’s salt will have more than one income stream… more than one way for you (the business) to make money.

This seems simple enough and the rest of the business world has understood it for the last century or more

I mean think about it for a moment… Let's say you are running a self serve copy shop. Your customers kept coming to the desk asking for pens, pencils and scissors.

Would you tell them “Sorry, we are a copy shop we don’t sell those things you’ll have to go next door and get them”?

Or would you start carrying pens, pencils and scissors to sell to your customers?

DOAH! Of course you’d sell the tools your customers need and are asking for.

This is exactly what happens when you take your network marketing business online. There are specific tools you’ll need to effectively run your business online. The beautiful thing about running an internet network marketing business is that most of the tools you need to run your business can be turned into additional income streams as well!

Yes, not only are internet marketing tools essential to running your business most of them have affiliate programs that can be turned into additional income for your business.

All of this frightens many old time network marketers. They are afraid to let you think about any income source other than your MLM because they think if you do you won’t “work” your business. Basically, they want you to walk past that $20, $50 or $100 bill on the street and not pick it up.

I had one fellow write to me on MySpace to tell me how Ann Sieg is NOT really a network marketer!

He says that Ann, with her Renegade System, is an Internet Marketer pretending to be a network marketer. He claims she is sabotaging good MLMers and holding people back!

What?!!! Ann Sieg is Not Really A Network Marketer?

Let me get this straight…

• Because Ann Sieg teaches folks about internet marketing tools and all the money they are missing out on if they are using antique network marketing techniques.

• Because she shows them how to find and use excellent internet markting tools.

• And because she explains to them that they need a marketing plan.

She isn’t a “Real” network marketer?

I couldn’t decide if I wanted to yell or laugh at this fellow. In the end I just decided to ignore him and move on. After all you can lead a horse to water… LOL.

NO! The internet is FULL of complimentary income opportunities if you know where to find them.

You need tools to build ANY kind of business no matter if it’s online, off line, a brick and mortar affair or a virtual world shop. The type of tools you need differ from situation to situation but you still NEED them and so does everyone else.

So…

• Stop being a slave to your MLM Company!
• Stop leaving money in the street!

Instead be a True Solutions provider for your clients. Show them how to find the tools they need to properly market their internet network marketing business. AND how to turn those internet marketing tools into an income stream as well.
