"How to Master the Art of Selling."
Tom Hopkins began in the Real Estate business where one thing he did on a regular basis was send a note to his prospects and customers. People returned to him time after time. Another thing he does is use questions to control the direction of the conversation. No one does it quite like him. He is a master and you can learn from him.
"Spin Selling", by Neil Rackham
This book is used by many large companies as part of their sales training. This selling model was developed as the result of a large study of 35,000 sales calls. It takes you through the sales process using four kinds of questions - Situation, Problem, Implication and Need Payoff. In my opinion the Implication questions are the most powerful, but you read the book and make up your own mind.
"The New Conceptual Selling," by Stephen Heiman
This selling model asks us to focus on the buyer's concept of their needs and wants in that moment. Listening is absolutely essential in any sales model, but is especially important here.
"The Ultimate Sales Letter," by Dan Kennedy
You don't still think of a "letter" as something you get in the mail do you? You are reading them all the time on the Internet and this guy knows how to write them. Sure you can send one in the mail, but be sure Dan has taught you how to do it. Learn from the best.
"Never Cold Call Again," by Frank Rumbauskas Jr.
One more way to bring prospects to you without you having to cold call. Anyone ever give you phone book and said, "Go for it?" Wasn't that exciting? You in the 21st Century now so you don't have to do that. This one is a must!
"Awaken The Giant Within, " by Tony Robbins
If you have not read this book before you should. No matter what you think of his infomercials and big teeth he has a great deal of practical tools you can use everyday to keep you on track and help your team grow. My favorite is the section on "The Fabric of Life."
"It's Not Over Until You Win," by Les Brown
This is one of the most motivational books i have ever read. My favorite quote from Les is "There will come a time in your life when you will have more yesterdays than tomorrows." That gets you thinking doesn't it?
"Influence," by Robert Cialdini
In my opinion Robert Cialdini is the number one expert on influence. Most of the calls for you to buy something on the Internet are based on his research. Find out how you can influence people. It is facinating and might just line your pockets with gold if you use the principles.
If you are interested in any of these books this is the place to order them.
