"Dancing With the Stars" Competitors Announced

All right. I'll admit it. I'm a total "Dancing With the Stars" freakazoid. And my husband, who poked fun at me during the first episode last season, is now a bigger freakazoid about the show than I am. So without further ado, let me announce (here at least) the lineup for this season.

So this season, we'll watch as Susan Lucci, singer Toni Braxton and former 'N Sync band member Lance Bass hit the floor on the ABC-TV hit show, which makes its premiere on Sept. 22 (I'm buying the beers).

In all, the season will feature 13 celebrities, the oldest being 82-year-old actress Cloris Leachman. The others are, drum roll, please:

Reality show star Kim Kardashian, celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito, actor Ted McGinley, TV personality Brooke Burke, the NFL's Warren Sapp and Olympian beach volleyball player Misty May-Treanor, young "Hannah Montana" star Cody Linley, comedian Jeffrey Ross and Olympian track star Maurice Greene, who won two gold medals at Sydney, Australia, in 2000.

So strap on your dancing shoes, get out your dance cards and settle back for another fun season of "Dancing with the Stars." I, for one, can't wait. Send me a comment if you already have some idea who the winner might be. We can compare notes.
