About Google Chrome
It sounds awesome although I just heard about it from a friend today. Google has released the beta version of a new browser Google Chrome it is a fully interfaced browser. Chrome is the user interface itself. They maximized the content & minimized the browser that is a great idea. I am fixing to try it wish me luck. Google is definitely at the forefront of the internet with all the technology they keep up with on a constant basis & the user friendly approaches are very refreshing.
With the idea of having a browser that does not crash because one tab or page encounters a problem is a beautiful thought & I am on board with that. I will evaluate this new browser & let you know what I think over the next few hours. Here is a bit more information about Google chrome.
Chrome is based on the open-source project Webkit, the same rendering engine used by Apple Safari. If a page renders in Safari, it will render in Chrome. Webkit is also the basis for Android, Google's mobile platform, so it seems that Google is planning to use Chrome in mobile environments.
For more details, see the Chrome First Take on CNET.
Google Chrome is a browser that combines a minimal design with sophisticated technology to make the web faster, safer, and easier. Read about why we built a browser.
More about Google Chrome
I am back from a fresh install of Google Chrome & I must say Google you have out done yourself in my opinion. I especially love the Minor Tweaks setting under options where I can make changes to all my fonts right away so I can read thing more easily not that I'm getting older & my eye site is going just that I do not like to have to squint, okay so maybe a bit of the former either way I love this setting.
I love the fact that it has a very sleek minimal page all around not a lot of dead space lets say. I love the fact I can open a new tab or window if you will, by just clicking the plus sign in the top right hand corner of the page. That is very quick & easy to use loads very swiftly compared to IE.
I have surfed now for an hour with no problems what so ever using 7 tabs open at one time. Oh my IE do you have some competition with your crazy IE will now close pop ups & your absurd hang ups that never end until I hold my control, Alt Delete buttons mostly to no avail, I may just be in love with you Google Chrome.
A few more days & a number of more challenging tasking will tell but I will continue to check out this new browser that has me enamored at the first glimpse. One main problem I have found so far that I see will be that the pages I frequent are not use to this new browser so I got the warning message at the bottom of this page here on the HubPages. Even though I got the warning I was able to log in & work on a Hub, post pictures & videos how ever, when I try to post my text the text does not save at all this is a big problem. Maybe the powers that be can check this new browser out too & see if they can allow people to surf with it in the near future just a thought. I will keep checking it out but for now I will not be able to post here with out using FireFox or IE. Tell me what you think new GC users. Happy surfing & have a great day.

I'm not having too many problems with IE7. Would you think it worth while to change over to Chrome, or wait a bit.
