Hello Hub-World! I really enjoy this site and the simplicity of it. I tried blogging and trying to figure out the Meta-Text codes, just took the joy out of the whole experience for me. I plan on being a professional writer some time in the future and saw blogging as an opportunity to develop my writing skills. I happened to come across some information on YouTube about HubPages and just thought I would check it out and I must say that so far I really like it!

It gives me an opportunity to share my thoughts with the world. I get to share my experiences and knowledge with others in a fast and efficient manner. One thing I really enjoy is browsing through the "Requests" for a topic I might have more knowledge than the average person about. This gives me an opportunity to help someone shorten the learning curve in some aspect of their life.

According to Pscyhology, one of the deepest human urges is self-expression. I think that a lot of people's frustration has to do with them not knowing how to express theirself and therefore people have a lot of bottled up emotions, thoughts, and ideas inside. HubPages provides an arena of self-expression that is not only helpful to its readers but also therapeutic to its writers.

Furthermore, the simplicity of posting an article makes it an ideal arena for the average person to develop their faculties of self expression. I look forward to seeing more people join and taking advantage of this awesome site!
