Gearing up for the Christmas shopping season, Apple has just announced the new iPod Nano where the screen gets bigger and a tiny camera slotted at the back to allow for video recording and a built-in mic for audio recording.
The good thing is the movies you record
are compatible with both PCs and Macintosh, and both systems
will be able to clip, send and edit movies recorded from your Nano. So there isn't any incompatibly issue here.
The goodies offered by the new 5th generation Apple iPod Nano features not only a larger 2.2-inch color display, a video camcorder and microphone built-in, it also features an FM radio and a pedometer on board, both firsts for the iPod family.
As usual, the nano comes in 9 sparkling colors - red, pink, orange, silver, black, purple, blue, green, and yellow and will cost $179 for 16GB and $149 for the 8GB.
Here's the thing that's just beyond me, if the new iPod Nano comes with recording capability, why doesn't it take still picture?
