The enV touch is the successor to the Lg voyager and offers a lot to the consumer. First off it has a big external 3 inch touch display that looks quite nice. Open the phone and you will see it also has a second 3 inch display(non touch) with a full size QWERTY keyboard. Unlike the Voyager this phone's resolution is higher with 800 x 480 pixels that looks awesome but we are all hoping the touch screen will work much better this time around. The enV touch still has a Resistive touch screen unlike higher end phones for example the iPhone and Palm pre that have a capacitive touch screen. The advantage of having a Resistive screen is you can use a pen or finger nail to type and operate the phone. The disadvantage is Resistive screens most of the time are not that finger friendly and you have to press hard on the screen and they are not as responsive as capacitive screens. However the screen is big enough to operate and it offers a full keyboard for texting, email, and instant messaging. It also has a very good 3.2 Megapixel auto focus camera and will do just fine for all your picture taking needs. There is no longer T.V capabilities but now offer a much faster and easier to use web browser. The enV line up has always been popular with the crowd and this phone most likely will sell good, we just hope the touch screen doesn't start to have problems down the line.

The Samsung Rogue is the successor to perhaps the worst phone ever made the Samsung Glyde. However this one is looking a lot more promising but we must keep our guard up. The Glyde looked good too at first glance but down the line started to have the worst touch problems and freezes ever on a phone we had ever seen. Reasons being the Samsung Rogue is looking better already is because of the interface. The interface this time is using Samsung's touch wiz 2.0 and has been proven to look and work well in other Samsung phones including the Omnia. The Rogue has a 3.1 inch touch screen display with a slide out keyboard. New features for the Rogue include a brand new screen technology called AMOLED that consumes less power and is brighter, (also used on the HD Zune) also a 3.0 Megapixel camera and now a 4 row QWERTY keyboard. Just like the enV Touch this phone is good for all types of messaging and has a 800 x 480 pixel screen but unfortunately it shares the same Resistive touch screen.

 The Nokia twist is a brand new messaging phone that definitely has its own unique look and style. The twist has a 2.4 inch display and twists open for a full QWERTY keyboard. Other features include a 3 Megapixel camera, Html Browser , Mirror and also Xpress–on  covers for customizing. Nokia has been in the past not so friendly with Verizon, usually, giving them ugly ,dumb, flip phones with the exception of the Nokia Intrigue. The Twist could actually leave a mark for Nokia phones on the Verizon Network. But not everyone is going to like the Nokia twist, my personal opinion is either you love it or hate it. If your not into touch or flip phones and don't want to go up to a blackberry but get that QWERTY keyboard this phone is perfect for you. Problems we could see with the phone down the road are its durability with the hinge it twists on. We do not want this getting loose or breaking on us. The twist has habitat mode just like the Nokia intrigue where you have cute icons that show the most recent people you have texted and talked to. It is a good little interface to keep in contact with your friends and family. We want to see more phones like the twist and it should sell well for fans of uniqueness.
