A new Michael Jackson song is to be released as an anthem to the Michael Jackson movie to be released to the October 28, 2009 on the wide screen. Cnn.com reports that the song has the 90's flavor of Michael Jackson to put their criticism lightly. In fact CNN went on to report that the song "This is It" is a a recording of a demo record made in the 90's. The song was released Monday at midnight and is available on michaeljackson.com. About 45 seconds of the song made its rounds online Sunday. A two disc album with the song included will be released October 27, 2009 one day before the release of the This is It movie.

CNN reports that the song sounds like a Latin American group Safire that record a song called "I Never Heard." That song was released in 1990 and CNN reports that the melody and lyrics are the same as the new released Michael Jackson song "This is It." Safire on their blog said that Michael Jackson wrote the song for the group with Paul Anka. The blog was posted a day after Michael Jackson passing on June 25, 2009. The group said they felt "blessed that they had the chance to record a song written by Michael Jackson."

Sony Music Entertainment announced "This is It" as an original recording of Michael Jackson. CNN reports that the melody and the lyrics of the song that Sony released on line Monday and the Safire song that is available on YouTube are the just about the same. The Sony Columbia/Epic Label executives would not respond to the CNN reporters about the similarity of the two songs and made no comments to the allegations. One record company executive did say that he had no knowledge of the newly released Michael Jackson song.

The company did admit that they found the demo of the "This is It" song in music archives of Michael Jackson vocals accompanied by piano music. Background vocal of Michael Jackson brothers and orchestra music was added to the demo to make the new recently released Michael Jackson recording. The song is classified as a love song and will be released in a two disc album a day before the much publicized Michael Jackson movie. The movie will show highlights of Michael Jackson career and his rehearsals for the "This is It" tour that was to tour over 50 cities in England and a reported 40 added cities. The newly released "This is It" recording will play at the trailer part of the movie.

Disc one of the album to be released on October 27, 2009 includes Michael Jackson's biggest hits such as "Billie Jean," "Smooth Criminal," "Human Nature," and "Thriller." The second disc will include Michael Jackson's more hits such as "Beat It," "She's Out of My Life," and "You Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'." Sony company states that the album will all include a recently discovered spoken word poem by Michael Jackson called "Planet Earth."
